So many people today say that they can give you true knowledge, as if it were a gift. Put your faith in them, send your money to them, buy their pamphlet, or do what they say, and for so small a price, you shall become wise, by osmosis.

Well, this is stuff and nonsense! No one can lead you down some primrose path to knowledge simply because it is convenient to them to do so. The path to understanding is a path which you must walk yourself, and of you own volition, not a celestial conga line open for the price of a 30¢ ticket.

The people who tell you that all you have to do to possess the secrets of the Universe is to read a certain book, or buy a certain pamphlet, or watch a certain television program and send money - they are either simpletons or charlatans, for so much is notgained by so little.

An omen is a symbolic message from Spirit — that is, the Goddess. Omens come in many forms and can show up at any time. Probably the most famous example of an omen is the black cat crossing a person’s path. Commonly understood as bringing bad luck, this omen would be better and more accurately described as a warning to be careful and avoid unnecessary risks.

Omens have been with us since the beginning. Some people think omens are superstitions, but if you understand that your connection to the goddess comes from within, then the idea of receiving messages from the Goddess should not seem odd. And since the spirit of the goddess is within all things, all things can serve as her messengers.

Happy Beltane! ❤️ On this May 1st, we welcome the return of the Green Man, the ancient spirit of the wild whose leafy gaze peers out from the heart of the forest. He is the personification of the Earth’s masculine strength and the surging life force that turns the world a brilliant, vibrant emerald. As the woods grow thick with foliage and the sap rises within the trees, the Green Man reminds us that life is an unstoppable, burgeoning power, reclaiming its territory with every new leaf and vine that reaches toward the sun. 🌿

The Green Man serves as a living symbol of our deep, ancestral connection to the Earth and the irrepressible urge to grow and evolve regardless of the obstacles in our way. This season invites us to recognize that same untamed energy within ourselves, urging us to nourish the roots of our intentions so they may finally break through the surface and flourish under the warmth of the strengthening sun. By honoring the green spirit within, we learn to move in harmony with the cycles of life, trusting that we too have the power to transform and bloom in our own unique time.

In what area of your life are you feeling a surge of new growth or creative energy this season? We’d love to hear about it in the comments! 🌳

The best way to build a relationship with your Guides is to work with them on a daily basis. Ideally, this should be at the same time each day, but it is better to do it at different times than not to do it.

Invoke your Guides, make the offering to them, and then speak to them in a natural manner, either aloud or silently. Express your desire to develop in this manner and to work with them consciously.

Now you must listen for their answer. Sit in a comfortable position with a sheet of paper and pencil or pen. Enter a meditative state, letting your mind be at rest. Do not think. If a thought comes into your mind, just let it go right on out, like a cloud floating across the sky. Do not grab hold of the thought and start reacting to it. However, anything that comes into your mind, write down.

Continue to write or say what comes into your mind as long as it keeps coming. Give it at least ten or fifteen minutes. When you have finished, thank your Guides. Now turn your attention to what you have received: does it make sense? When we first begin this kind of work, what we get often does not make much sense, as we often get disconnected words or images. This is because the channel of communication is just in the process of opening, and messages that are trying to be sent cannot necessarily get through properly at this point. After a few weeks, and maybe sooner, you should be getting clear messages.
