Our Zion Lions have been having an absolute blast enjoying their won Teacher Time experiences from our school auction!

So far, our kiddos have enjoyed a pizza lunch in the staff area with Mrs. Ill and Mrs. Cleveland, explored the Museum of Illusions with Mrs. Ziegler and Mrs. Dinkelman, and bounced the day away at Urban Air with Mrs. Haynes and Ms. Lotz. They also got to play badminton with Mr. L and Mrs. Hoercher, visit the zoo with Mrs. Shalenko and Mrs. Kniffin, and enjoy games and lunch with Mrs. Barradas!

These are such special memories for our students, and we are so grateful to our amazing teachers and generous auction winners who made these experiences possible.

Thank you for helping create such fun, meaningful moments for our Zion Lions! 🦁

What a joyful way to end an incredible school year at Zion! 🎢🦁✨

Our final chapel of the 2025-2026 school year was centered around our theme verse from Psalm 98:4, β€œMake a joyful noise. Living out loud for the Lord.” This year, we have truly been living out loud for the Lord in so many wonderful ways.

We were blessed to hear our kindergarten students sing their graduation songs, worship alongside our church praise band, and reflect on the message that we can live joyfully and boldly for Jesus through every season of life, when we are happy, facing challenges, learning new things, enjoying summer vacation, and everywhere in between, because He is always with us.

We also celebrated our summer birthdays with what may have been the longest conga line Zion has ever seen! πŸŽ‰ We honored our amazing teachers and staff for their faithful years of service, celebrating anniversaries from 5 years all the way to 20 years.

After chapel, students enjoyed a fun-filled Field Day with their faith families. Our 7th graders did an outstanding job leading the day and creating so many exciting games and activities for everyone to enjoy.

This school year has been filled with joy, laughter, faith, and living boldly for Jesus. We are so thankful for our Zion family and the memories made together this year.

We hope all of our families have a wonderful, safe, and blessed summer! β˜€οΈ We love our Lions and can’t wait to see what God has in store for the 2026-2027 school year! πŸ’™πŸ’›

Although we had to pivot yesterday and move most of our school picnic indoors due to the weather, we hope everyone still had a wonderful time! Thank you to all of the parents, families, and vendors who came out and for your flexibility and understanding as we worked to make this year’s picnic memorable. The smiles on the kids’ faces made it all worthwhile!

We also want to give a huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who helped with shifts, setup, and cleanup. Without everyone’s helping hands, events like this would not be possible. We truly have the best community!

Lastly, a very special thank you to Kristin Garrett for leading and organizing this event. Your love for our school and your Zion spirit truly shined through for all of our students and families to see.

Please share your school picnic photos in the comments below, we would love to see all the fun and memories made! πŸ’™πŸ¦
