This Father’s Day, Love Church is doing something very special.

As we conclude our powerful “All In The Family” sermon series, we would like to invite fathers to bring their immediate family members down to the altar during our worship service. In what we believe will be one of the most meaningful moments of the year, fathers will lay hands on their children, pray over them, bless them, and speak life into their future. Fathers will also have the opportunity to bless their wives and publicly commit themselves to being better providers, protectors, and priests over their homes.

We are also inviting men who do not yet have children to come forward and make a commitment to become better men for our community and for the families they may one day lead. Strong families begin with strong men, and strong men begin with a decision.

We believe this will be a powerful, emotional, and unforgettable moment that every family should experience together.

Join us Sunday, June 21 at 9:30 AM during our Sunday Morning Worship Service at Love Church, located at 1549 Frank Scott Parkway West in Belleville.

Then stay with us immediately following worship for our annual Father’s Day Car, Truck & Bike Show beginning at 12:00 PM.

There are some mothers who don’t get enough credit. They don’t post everything they’re going through, and they don’t always say how heavy things can feel. They just keep showing up, doing everything they can to take care of their children and hold their family together.

At Love Church, we really want a mother to know this one thing: the Lord sees her. He sees the sacrifice, the quiet strength, and the way she keeps going even when life has not made it easy.

This weekend, we want to be a blessing to a mother in our community, a non Love Church partner, who may have faced real challenges this year, but has responded with resilience, strength, and consistency. Not just someone with a difficult story, but a mother who, in the middle of it all, has continued to show up, fight for her family, and carry herself with courage. A true everyday hero.

We want to pour into her in a real way. She will receive $200 worth of groceries, a $200 spa experience, a powerful worship experience, and a 5-star brunch immediately following service.

If someone comes to your mind, nominate her. Send us her name, her story, and why she deserves to be blessed. Let’s come together and remind a mother that she is seen, valued, and loved.

If you are gifted and called, I need you to know that God has not changed His mind about you. No matter what you’ve done or how long you’ve not used your gift, “If you don’t use it, you will lose it,” is not a biblical idea. You may not be as proficient with it as others but you are still gifted. You will never lose it.

And that pull you feel to preach and teach in the most unlikely of places, maybe even places you shouldn’t be, that is because you are called and your calling is irrevocable.

Today, March 28, 2026, marked a powerful and historic moment for our church family.

Love Church had the honor of hosting our first ever Active Shooter Training, led by the Illinois State Troopers, and joined by the security team from New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. What took place today was not just training, it was preparation, awareness, and responsibility at the highest level.

The Illinois State Troopers did an outstanding job equipping us with critical tools in situational awareness and walking us through exactly what to do in the event of an active shooter situation. This was not surface level instruction. They placed our volunteers into a live scenario, designed to feel as real as possible, complete with live sounding rounds, so that what was taught could immediately be applied under pressure.

This kind of training changes how you think, how you move, and how you respond. It matters.

A very special thank you to Msgt. Jeremy Moyer and Trooper Marquis Jones, Trooper Christian Seminak, and Trooper Nate Neal for your leadership, professionalism, and commitment to keeping communities safe.

We also want to honor and thank our security chief Bryant Johnson, the entire Love Church security team, and all 127 Love Church volunteers who showed up and leaned in to receive this vital training. Your willingness to be prepared speaks volumes about your heart for people and your commitment to protecting others.

This was a historic day for Love Church. One we will never forget. One that makes us stronger, wiser, and better equipped to serve.

I highly recommend that every church, school, or business contact the Illinois State Police for this training. In fact, the next time we host them, we are going to invite many pastors and their staffs to attend as well. It is just that important.

On March 26, 2026, Love Church partnered with Operation Food Search, who served as the food provider for this outreach, to deliver meals and gas cards to TSA workers impacted by the partial government shutdown at MidAmerica St. Louis Airport.

In response to the financial strain placed on federal employees, Love Church mobilized quickly to meet both practical and personal needs. Through this partnership, meals were supplied by Operation Food Search, while Love Church provided gas cards and on site support to TSA personnel who continue to report to work without pay, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to serve.

We believe we are called to make a meaningful impact in our community, and where there is a need for love to be shown, we will not hesitate to respond. What stood out most was the level of dedication from these workers, showing up day after day with excellence, even in uncertainty.

Ryan, a TSA representative, along with his team, worked closely with Love Church to ensure smooth coordination and access throughout the airport, allowing this effort to be carried out with excellence.

We also want to recognize Jaki Jefferson, Senior Team Leader at Love Church and Executive Director of Love Church Events, whose leadership was instrumental in bringing this partnership together and helping execute this moment of impact.

Whether it is advancing the gospel of the kingdom or showing love in tangible ways, Love Church remains committed to being present, visible, and making impact in our community.
