We are continuing our look at Romans 8 and “The God Life” described by the Apostle Paul. We noted last week that the church in Rome faced the groaning of creation with all its difficulties, and the struggles of living out their faith in their personal lives. Paul encourages them to lean on the Holy Spirit, as He intercedes through prayer on their behalf. But how are they to view the troubles they face?

What are they to learn about God’s good work in their lives? What results should they expect?

Join us tomorrow morning for week 8 of our "The Good God Life," sermon series. Tomorrow's message is "The Confident in God's Plan Life" and is based on Romans 8:8-29. Invite a friend, grab a cup of coffee in the foyer, check the kids in with our Jr Worship leaders and join us as we dive into God's Word!

We are only 2 weeks away from Vacation Bible School here at First Christian Church of Belleville! Our Rainforest Falls VBS is June 15th-19th from 6-8:30 pm for kids 3 years through 5th grade!

Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. They’ll explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a safe place in life’s storms.

Scenes from Sunday !

What an an incredible SUNDAY it was! It's always so good to see all of your smiling faces on Sunday morning and we've been seeing lots new faces too!! We are SO excited about that!! This week, Gina, Meghan, and the Praise Band led us in an amazing time of worship. We prayed over Jim and PJay for Jim's surgery (update: surgery went well, please continue to pray as Jim recovers from surgery). We also recognized our Class of 2026 graduates. We're so excited for them as they begin this new chapter in life! Doug shared a WONDERFUL message from Romans 8:18-27. If you missed it, you can watch it on our page, or in our media library on our app or website! Then after church, Stacey gave everyone a tour of our new-to-us church BUS! It's gonna be GREAT to take trips on this BUS!!

Whew, what a morning! And we LOVED every minute spent with ALL of you, our FCCB church fam!! Happy Wednesday everyone! Keep praising HIM, you're half way through you week!! We're looking forward to SUNDAY!! SEE YOU ALL THEN!! ❤️

On Sunday morning, we took time to cover our dear friend, Jim Boeving, in prayer for his surgery on Tuesday. Today is the day! We ask everyone to be praying for Jim. Pray for the surgeons, doctors, nurses, and all who will be involved in his care and pray for PJay, Niki, and Brian and their families as they wait. Our FCCB prayer warriors are praying for you Jim! ❤️

On Sunday, we honored our Class of 2026 Graduates! Haley Harlan, graduated from the University of Mississippi with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Easton Oughton graduated from Wolf Branch School District. Paige Smith graduated from Joseph Arthur Middle School. And Sawyer Hrabusick graduated from Milstadt Middle School! Stacey presented each graduate with a gift.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF OUR GRADUATES!! We pray for God's blessings as you journey into the next chapter of life! 🎓🎉
