Hi Everyone, I would like to share a Scripture and thoughts that go with the scripture. If I may:
Numbers 10:35 : “Rise up, O LORD! Let your enemies be scattered, And let those who hate You flee before You.”
This was the prayer of Moses when the Presence of God led the Children of Israel forward.
In the 2nd year after leaving Egypt, the Nation of Israel was about to enter the Promised Land. They knew they were facing stronger enemies that they in themselves could not defeat. The idea was simple. “God, go before us and take care of our enemies. It is too dangerous ahead unless You do this.”
It is also a fitting prayer to remember the Glory and Strength of the Ressurected Lord.
When Jesus Rose up, all His enemies were scattered. No one dared oppose Him. All our Victory is found in His risen Glory.
Comments from Charles H. Spurgeon on this Scripture is for us who believe in Jesus should note:

1. Sin was defeated and scattered at the Cross.

2. The hosts of Hell were defeated and scattered at the Cross.

3. Death itself was defeated and scattered at Cross.

4. The gods of the heathen nations that occupied Canaan were defeated and scattered at the Cross.

5. When a Believer in Christ deals with loss, confusion, trials, rejection, guilt, and so many other things that causes distraction, then let him or her say,” Let my enemies be defeated and scattered at the Cross. “ Today, Let us say, WE HAVE THE VICTORY BECAUSE WE HAVE JESUS “. Hallelujah

Seeking Veterans Peacetime and all Eras of War engagements back through the years, not in any Veterans orgs. Still want to see Veterans that served from 1November 1955 to 15 May 1975 in any of our Military Branches that live in the Tri - Community Area of Belleville, Sumpter Township and Van Buren Township find their way to BHS Main Auditorium Tomorrow at 5 PM - 7PM located at 501 W. Columbia Ave. Belleville and participate in the Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony Honoring and Recognizing YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY.
YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS THIS SPECIAL TIME.

Saw a posting right here on FB showing a postal worker who served in the military that saluted an American Flag and it made me think that ALL GAVE SOME AND SOME GAVE ALL BUT SOME ARE STILL GIVING. March 29 is National Vietnam Veterans Day. JOIN THE NATION - THANK A VET. No matter when they served. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!!!!

Heard this just now from one of our Ministry programs. “ THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF OUR WINNING”. Just one day after the Iowa Caucus, the quote alluded to President Trump winning in Iowa despite some people trying to cheat in the state by buying votes for other Republican candidates that got caught doing this, it is the Beginning of Winning all we have lost in our lives that are Economic, Social, Spiritual, Physical, and Mental. We have so much coming to us in our time that God has ordained for us. This World will see His Love, His Righteousness, His Judgment. His Creation will see His Mercy and Glory. WATCH AND SEE!!!!!

Has for the next 4 days a time of Prayer and Fasting starting at 7 PM for about an hour. If you need a time of Refreshing or want to Draw near to God, this is the place to be. Welcome to a place that loves God and His Son, Jesus. Come on in. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father except by Him, the Son, Jesus.

Greetings, this will be the beginning Post of sharing my thoughts and hopefully, concerns for and about Veterans that are dealing with their memories and what they did while in the Service of our Country's Armed Forces.
Just today, I attended a Celebration of Life for one of our assistant Pastors from River of Life Church here in Belleville, my Home Town.
Pastor John S. was a U. S. Marine, serving in Desert Storm, Somalia and other places during his tours of Duty around the country and the world. I had only known him for a short time, since only coming to River of Life 3, going on 4 years ago coming up in April.
Pastor John was one of the first Veterans from R O L that I met when I stepped through those doors the first time. He had a quiet voice and easy spirit. I immediately felt comfortable being around him and sensed that he was someone I could talk to about Veterans issues and how I might bring the Vet's Ministry that God had given me back in 2014 to River of Life for Vets that attend here.
Before I go any further, I need to call on the Vets who attend River of Life Church to keep the Sherman Family in Prayer and Comfort them at this time. If there are others who feel a need to pray for them, please do so. Thank You.
As I was starting to share my thoughts at the beginning, the Celebration gave me cause to realize that I needed to get a handle on letting Veterans and Civilians that haven't given God a Chance to do His Best in You and through you was actually being a Disservice and Shortchanging you as a part of God's Creation, all because you don't know how much God loves YOU.
In the coming months and days, I hope to show all of those who follow this page that God has a purpose and a plan for you that you have probably never thought about before. Many of you will more than likely, try to tell me that I don't know what I am talking about but I assure you that what I will share with you is solid and IRREFUTABLE EVIDENCE that God's Word, Jesus Christ, cannot be denied, crushed beneath your feet, burned, made invisible, inaudible, non - feeling, or just plain unattainable. NOTHING YOU WILL DO CAN TAKE GOD'S WORD FROM BEING PLANTED IN YOUR HEART, MIND OR SOUL IN YOUR WALK ON THE ROAD YOU ARE TRAVELING THROUGH THIS LIFE. Also know this, you are not alone.
Every man, woman and child will have to make that choice: Serve God or Serve the one who tries to subvert God by alienating God's Creation: YOU AND ME by Lying, Stealing and Destroying the very Essence of What and Who we are. But guess what? that One has already lost, not just the Battle, he has lost the War.
I think I have gotten off the track that I intended to stay on but that is okay. We will be taking the time to share this and more with you as I am wanting to see that all God want us to know will be given according to His Time and His Will for our Lives so I'll take my exit here and come back again soon to give a word from God's Word for you.
