On Sunday we learned about communion in RK. Parents, as you tuck in your kids tonight, take a moment to talk about Communion.
READ: Matthew 26:17–19, 26–30; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26
In the Bible story, Jesus shared a very special meal with His disciples. We call it the Last Supper. The bread represents His body, broken for us, and the cup represents His blood, shed for us. Every time we share Communion, we remember what Jesus did on the Cross.
ASK: “What does Communion remind us of?”
“Why should we take Communion?”
Prayer: “Dear Jesus, thank You for Your love for us. Help us to remember what You did for us when we take Communion. Amen.”
