Parents, as you tuck in your kids tonight, take a moment to talk about discipleship.

READ: In the Bible, Timothy served as Paul’s helper in ministry. You can read about their story in2 Timothy 1:3–6.
Timothy learned a lot from Paul, which helped him grow as a Christian and leader. But he didn’t stop there; he used what he learned to help others!

ASK: “How can we help others grow and be better followers of Jesus?”

PRAY: “Dear God, thank You for the people who teach us and help us grow. Help us to set a good example and encourage others to follow You. Amen.”

Hey, parents! Here’s a thought for your drive today: God has plans for my life.

We make all kinds of plans—what we want to be, what we hope to achieve, and even what to have for dinner! But did you know that God actually has plans for our lives? Sometimes those plans aren’t always the easiest, but we can trust that they are always the best.

Let’s think:
Have you ever asked God what He wants you to do?
Did you obey God and listen to His plan?
Has God ever told you to do something difficult?
Did you obey God and listen to His plan?

This week let’s take a moment to ask God what plans He has for us. Be sure to share your family’s discussions below!

On Sunday we talked about overcoming temptation. Our kids shared some of their current temptations and we had a time of prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to give us strength to overcome.

Let's be in prayer this week for our River Kids and the temptations and challenges that they face.

Hey Parents 👋

We are starting a new series tomorrow in River Kids called 'Made Right.' We can't wait to teach our kids how Jesus came to make things right.

Check back for weekly lesson recaps and creative ways to talk with your kids about what they are learning each week.

See you tomorrow!

On Sunday we learned about communion in RK. Parents, as you tuck in your kids tonight, take a moment to talk about Communion.

READ: Matthew 26:17–19, 26–30; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

In the Bible story, Jesus shared a very special meal with His disciples. We call it the Last Supper. The bread represents His body, broken for us, and the cup represents His blood, shed for us. Every time we share Communion, we remember what Jesus did on the Cross.

ASK: “What does Communion remind us of?”
“Why should we take Communion?”

Prayer: “Dear Jesus, thank You for Your love for us. Help us to remember what You did for us when we take Communion. Amen.”
