For 22 years we’ve come together in the fall to remember Tom Ponsot. Tom was a camp board member for many years who loved the camp and supported it. We’ve decided we’d like to do something special at the camp in his memory. All proceeds from this event will go toward the The Tom Ponsot Disk Golf Course to be built at the camp. And just like that, all have gone home and the camp is totally quiet for the first time since early May. What an amazing summer it has been. The only thought I have tonight is God is so good and faithful!

It is crazy to me that summer is over. This one flew by and it was because of the people we had around us. It has been an amazing season spent with some incredible people. This group of college staffers have become family. We put them out front all summer long and they shined! They gave everything they had to campers all summer long. What a gifted group! What I love most about them is they grew as a group, family and most importantly to Jesus! I am not ready for them to go home.

Walked out my back door to the sounds of laughing kids and a beautiful view. It’s crazy we’re down to just two more weeks of summer camp. It has been such an amazing summer I don’t want it to end yet.

Lining the field for band camps is harder than it looks… pretty sure we walked over 10 miles measuring and then measuring it again. Coming down the homestretch of summer… about two more weeks to go. Not ready to say goodbye to my staffers. Such an amazing group of young people.
