"Like anyone else, it was not enough for Jesus to simply claim things about Himself. There had to be an outside and independent witness to His true identity and nature." ~David Guzik (read for reference: John 1:6-8; John 5:32-40)

💡The comparison of Jesus and John the Baptist teaches us our position as witnesses of the Light.

🔥 CHALLENGE: Take a close look at your life right now. Are you an effective witness of the Light? Or, do you need to take a step to submit to Jesus today?

📖2 Corinthians 10:3-5 "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

🙏🏼Pray for every stronghold and lie of the enemy to be broken in specific situations, families, people groups, cities, states, and nations. Pray for repentance over these areas as well as over your own life.

There’s nothing better than good food, good friends, and summer nights! Join us for evenings filled with volleyball🏐, yard games🥏, and dinner together🍽. After we eat, we’ll take a few minutes for a short devotion and worship with a couple of songs🎶. It’s a relaxed way to connect, have fun, and grow in faith as a community!
