☃️ Snow Day Kids Church Check‑In! ☃️
Even though we’re not meeting in person today because of the snow and icy roads, our Kids Min lesson is still something your family can dive into at home.
We have been going over the past 3 weeks our Foundations of Faith. I have been asking our kiddos, what do YOU believe and WHY do YOU believe it?
Our first week we learned:
📕 Our Scriptures our Inspired - We Believe the Bible is God's Word, and He has a plan for me!
Our Second Week we learned:
1️⃣There is One True God - We Believe that there is One True God
Our Third week we learned:
👑 The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ - We believe that Jesus is God!
Today’s Big Ideas for Our Kids:
💡The Fall of Man - We believe that everyone has sinned, and needs Jesus! (Genesis 3:1-8, 22-24; Isaiah 59:2)
In this session, kids will discover that ever since the first man and first woman sinned, everyone has sinned. The Bible says we have all disobeyed God by doing wrong things just like Adam and Eve did. The good news is that God made a way for sinners like us to have our sins forgiven through Jesus, who died on the Cross for our sins.
Take a moment today, snuggle in, cozy up and read today's lesson! Ask yourself and your kiddo, how can you apply this to your life today? What is Sin and how does it seperate your life from God? Does Sin just affect you, does it affect others? Was Sin in God's original plan for us, and how did it begin?
When we hear and read God’s Word, we should respond. Today, we talked about why We believe that . . . Everyone has sinned and needs Jesus. Everyone has sinned, and we all struggle with different sinful temptations. The good news is that Jesus can help us overcome sin! Let’s respond to our Bible lesson. Ask God to show you the thoughts and actions in your life that disobey His instructions to you.
