2 Corinthians 3:18 "So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord-who is the Spirit- makes us more and more like humans we are changed into his image". I just love this scripture, it just reminds me of how I was so blind before I started living for Christ Jesus. Once that veil is removed I felt exposed, but for a good cause. God showed me all of my wrongs and then wiped it away.I don't want to carry all of that junk with me, God is cleaning me up and I am excited about it. Everyday is a working progress, God is molding me to become more and more like him. I can honestly say that I was broken completely down, mentally and physically. But now I can honestly say like that song by Marvin Sapp " I'm stronger, I'm wiser, I'm better, much better". I never would have made it without God. 1 John 4:21
And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth GOD shall love his brother(believer) also.

LOVE others, other believers and non-believers.Us ladies, our love is deep anyway, but that one person. We all know we have that one person, a family member, a friend, co-worker, or even a church member that just don't sit right you. That one person will mess your whole day up, that one person will have you thinking some un-Godly thoughts, that one person would just have you all messed up, but, that one person just need your LOVE. We have to love ya'll ! If you love the LORD you should also love others. Practice love this week and watch how things change. Love your kids a little more, love your significant other, love the unlovable, show them who Jesus really is through you.

Matthew 6:3-4
But when you give to someone in need, don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Give your gifts in private and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

Sometimes we tend to get all puffed up and hot headed when giving to others. Like, oh girl, I gave this much to so and so, I donated this much to this ministry or that organization. I did this for this person or that family member. It is awsome to give, donate, or volunteer, thats great! But not all the time you need let your left hand know what your right hand will do. Sometimes, it is quite ok to humble yourself and give in private to bless someone with something. No need to broadcast or brag, for our father already has seen what we have done, he is the only one that matters. You dont have to call your sister, mother,cousin, aunt, grandma, great-grandma, you even went to pookies grave to tell what you did. I know that I call my sister to tell her almost everything. When we get on the phone it is over. I love talking to my sister, but Gods word is more important to me. What he says is TRUE! So, there is no need for the extra ok from others, when, the most important thing, is that God sees you, and as scripture says he will reward you.When we are doing good deeds for our church, family, community,or a certain organization, we should practice first to humble ourself, pray about it and then act on it. Then after that ask the Holy Spirit for guidance for our next moves. No need to make all of the unnessary phone calls. God got our back, He already know!
FYI I read the NLT, I love it, I can understand it, its good for me. I also read the KJV and the AMP.

Verse for today comes from 1 Corinthians 13:2 I may have the gift to speak what God has revealed(prophsey), and I my understand all mysteries and have all knowledge(wise). I may even have enough faith to move mountains. But if I don't have love, I am nothing.
Wow! I don't know about ya'll but this is deep. To me God is saying you can have all the spiritual gifts he has to offer, you can be the most wisest man on earth, you can have faith taller than the tallest mountain, you can be the smartest "know it all" of all times, but, if you don't have love, you are nothing. Love is more than " I love you", lets continue to read verse 4 Love is patient. Love is kind. Love isn't jealous. It doesn't sing its own praises. It isn't arrogant. verse 5 It isn't rude. It doesn't think about itself. It isn't irritable. It dosen't keep track of wrongs. verse 6 It isn't happy when injustice is done, but happy with the truth. verse 7 Love never stops being patient, never stops believing, never stops hoping, never gives up.

Whew, ok love is all that! Laugh out loud. So love is clearly more than saying "I love you". Love is being patient with people, things and yourself. Love is being kind to others and to yourself, love is believing in one another, hoping for a better tomorrow, and not giving up on life itself. Love is a huge thing, GOD is love! It will take practice, prayer and dedication to fully live out love, but I believe in us and I know that we can love to our fullest ability in 2016 and the future years to come. I am committed to LOVE 2016!

So, this scripture is from yesterday, but what amazes me is how yesterday was the first of the new year and the scripture is talking about the past, the present ,and the future. Isaiah 43:18 This is what the LORD says: Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago. verse 19 I am going to do something new. It is already happening. Don't you recognize it? I will clear a way in the desert. I will make rivers on dry land. verse 20 I will make rivers on dry land for my chosen people to drink. verse 21 I have formed these people for myself. They will praise me.
Glory to God! I love this scripture, God is telling us as believers is that he is not concerned about what went on 1 year ago, 5years ago, 10 years ago, 20 and so fourth. We worry so much about what we did, we even worry about what others may think. Gods word reminds us of how much he loves and care about us. I was just talking with my bestfriend last week and I was telling her how I was doubting starting this group because of things that happened in my past. I told her that I don't even feel worthy enough to speak to women about Christ. Huh. Silly me. God loves us, when he looks at us all he see is a bright future he has promised us in his word. God will make a way for us, he will provide for us, it is us who must let the past go and look foward to our future with Christ. He has a plan and a purpose for us. Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord pland to prosper you and give you a hope and a future".
So what are we waiting for, lets leave those old times behind, out with the old and on to the new. God is ready to make a way for us, he said it, and God is a God of truth.
