Lord in your mercy hear our prayers…

Dear Beloved People of the Ohio Episcopal Area,

Severe flooding across Central Ohio has caused widespread damage and disruption, displacing families and threatening homes and livelihoods. Our hearts are with all who have been affected.

I invite every congregation across East and West Ohio to respond with prayer and compassionate action. Please pray for those in danger, for first responders, and for all providing shelter, food, medical care, and essential assistance.

The work of recovery will require sustained cooperation. I encourage our churches to care for their neighbors, remain connected with district and conference leaders, and participate in coordinated relief efforts as opportunities arise.

No congregation or community should face this crisis alone. Through our prayers, generosity, service, and faithful partnership, may we embody Christ’s healing presence.

God of mercy and refuge, protect those in danger, comfort those who have suffered loss, and strengthen all who serve. Gather us as one body so that, through our loving action, hope may rise and communities may be restored. In Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.

We had a great time at our “Back To School Backpack Blessing!” A big thank you to everyone who came to enjoy good food, fun fellowship, and receive a blessing. We pray that this year will go smoothly for everyone and just like Peter walking on the water God will be with you always!

We wrapped up our Rainforest Waterfalls VBS last night with good food, songs, and celebration. Mr. Flutterby caught the rare butterfly he’s been searching for all week! The butterfly had fang teeth and likes to eat cheeseburgers! Everyone had such a great time nobody wanted to leave! A BIG thank you to everyone who prayed, led groups, sang, worked in the kitchen, taught scripture, organized the games, and helped with the decorations. You all are amazing! All we can say is Wow God!

Wow did we have a great time at VBS! We learned so much already about how many things God has created! All we can say is: WOW GOD!

You can still join us Monday night! We have room for all!
