This past Sunday, we celebrated the powerful legacy of faith passed down through generations. Just like young Timothy, who learned Scripture from his grandmother Lois and mother Eunice, our children can know and follow Christ even in our challenging culture—through the unchanging truth of God's Word.
The greatest gift we can give the next generation isn't a program or a strategy—it's faithful discipleship lived out in ordinary moments. From childhood Bible reading to navigating life's hardships together, faith is caught as much as it's taught. Timothy grew up in a pagan culture, in an imperfect family, yet became a faithful man of God because people poured Scripture into his life.
Parents and grandparents, you are the primary disciples of your children. Church family, we walk alongside them. Together, we point the next generation to Jesus—not through perfection, but through faithful presence, open Bibles, and hearts surrendered to Christ. The Scripture that shaped Timothy still works today. Never give up. Keep praying. Keep pointing them to Jesus.
