It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Scott Buss.

In light of this loss, all lessons, meetings and services for the Institute of Music, Worship and the Arts, All Nations House of Prayer & Zadok gathering are suspended from this point on.

The family will be posting details of a memorial service after the holidays.

Many of you are reaching out about our dad, Scott Buss, and we want to share an update. Most of you know he was healthy and active up until recently. Everything changed so fast. He started feeling a little off after returning from a trip to Seattle, and on 11/26 he was diagnosed with the flu. We thought it would run its course, but instead his breathing kept getting worse, and he ended up in the ICU with pneumonia, strep sepsis, heart failure, and severe respiratory failure.

Over the past several days, the doctors tried everything—medications, high-flow oxygen, and BiPAP—but his lungs continued to struggle. Today, his oxygen levels couldn’t stay stable anymore, and they had to put him on a ventilator to take over his breathing and give his lungs a chance to rest and heal.

He is now sedated, on the ventilator, and stable, and the ICU team is doing absolutely everything they can for him. This has all happened so suddenly, and it’s been incredibly hard to watch someone so strong get sick this quickly. We are hopeful that he will come off the vent once his body has time to recover.
