What a day God gave the team in Lublin!

They took the Gospel right to the main square of the city for a Day of Thanksgiving, a celebration where Ukrainians said "thank you" to the Polish people for opening their hearts and homes at the start of the war.

Here's a glimpse of what happened:
* Animators and activities brought joy to families and children
* Powerful worship filled the square
* Shared meals and fellowship
* Spaces where people prayed together
* The preaching of the Gospel, with more than 500 people listening at one point!

Ukrainians stood up in front of their Polish neighbors and shared stories of God's love and deep gratitude. They prayed for the city of Lublin, for the city's leaders, and for the Polish people.

Because of your support, they were able to make all of this happen, the tent, the sound equipment, the food area, the animators. YOU are part of this!

An update from our friends at Life Center in Lublin!

What an incredible month it has been! God has allowed us to ordain 8 deacons and 1 pastor in our Word of Faith churches. It is such a blessing to witness a new generation of young ministers being raised up and entrusted with serving God's people!

In Lublin, the evangelistic outreach is already producing fruit, people are walking through the church doors and being reconciled with Jesus. We are actively working both in the city and within the local church, and God is showing up!

We do ask for your earnest prayers. Warsaw is actively preparing for defensive military action, and many people are living in fear that the war in Ukraine may reach them as well. These are real and serious concerns. Even so, the Ukrainian church in Poland is growing and serving faithfully, people are being saved!

The team in Lublin celebrated its first Thanksgiving. Giving thanks to all the Polish people have done to help them throughout the Ukrainian war.

About 100 women, refugees from Ukraine, came to this women's service the team in Lublin held. They held a master class in Ukrainian cuisine for them, presented flowers in honor of Women's Day, and, of course, preached the Gospel. Thanks to your support to make these events possible.

The power of strategic partnerships in disaster relief.

When the Altadena, CA, fires devastated thousands, we knew we needed local expertise to ensure aid reached those most in need.

Enter Brother Humberto Mena, District Superintendent for the Western Latin American District Church of the Nazarene. With deep roots in Los Angeles and connections to affected pastors and congregations, he became our eyes and ears on the ground.

The result? Every dollar went directly to families starting from scratch:
→ Homeowners awaiting insurance
→ Renters facing an overcrowded market
→ Pastors who lost both homes and church facilities

In nonprofit work, the right partnership isn't just helpful, it's essential.
A year later, Brother Humberto continues serving the community. The need persists, but so does hope.

ONE YEAR UPDATE: Altadena Fire Relief

A lot of you donated last year when the Altadena fires destroyed thousands of homes. You deserve to know where your money went!

TOTAL RAISED: Over $65,000

HOW WE HELPED:
✅ 4 families received $6,000 each
✅ 5 families received $3,000 each
✅ $17,000 to 5 people for rent deposits, clothing, housing
✅ $6,000 to Venezuelan families for relocation
✅ Helped a woman secure a camper after living in her car
✅ $10,000 additional contribution from Shepherd's Heart Ministries

🤝 We partnered with Humberto Mena who connected us directly with families in need—including two pastors who lost their homes AND churches.

⚠️ THE REALITY: Many families STILL haven't received insurance money as of January 2026. They're discouraged but not giving up.
