It is with a heavy heart that I, pastor Charles, have to share that my dad passed away Friday. As previously reported, he prayed the prayer of salvation. My heart is broken, but I know my dad is in heaven standing with mom and Jesus.

There will be no worship service this Sunday. I pray that you spend time with Jesus by reading and study Scripture with your families. He passed with the hope of salvation, and went peacefully.

Please, pray for my family as we gather together to remember his life and legacy.

I just got off the phone with a pastor friend of mine from Mississippi. He was working with my dad and sister. He called and said that my dad prayed the prayer of repentance in Jesus name.

My dad has never been able to speak the name of Jesus. That is how I know he is born again. All praise be to God!

There's power in the name of Jesus. Romans 10:13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Amen! Hallelujah!
