Little River Church In a broken world, we will be the family of God to our community one relationship at a time. Welcome to Little River Church! We would love to meet you!

We are meeting in person as well as offering a Facebook live stream of our Sunday morning worship. We meet on Wednesday to share a simple spaghetti dinner, prayer and discussion of God's word. We are no longer requiring the wearing of masks per the Governors most recent update and are operating as normal. Given that there is still much concern surrounding COVID-19, we do ask that if you are not feeling well, that you join us via our online offerings, and take time to recover prior to joining us in person. You will find a high view of the word of God in our commitment to Christ-centered expositional teaching through the books of the Bible. We emphasize discipleship, and we're committed to gaining gospel fluency. Our worship is a mix of contemporary music and hymns. Our dress is casual so come as you are. We hope you enjoy your online experience and get a taste of what Little River is all about. All are welcome here. We would love to have you join us for any of our events or services. We had a collection of readings this past week- skipped around the Bible a bit.
God comes into the tabernacle at the end of Exodus. He is dwelling with His people! They started Exodus being rescued from slavery, and the book ended with those same people having God's presence with them in a glorious way. Then we turn to David in the Psalms (ch 4-6) where David calls upon God to help with knowing wise ways to deal with this world. And we then went to Proverbs ch 3-5 where we are told to trust God's ways. Wisdom is key in this life. And then we went to Matthew in the New Testament and start seeing how God dwelt with man in the person of Jesus Christ. You started the week reading about a scary, very holy God who needed to make special arrangements in order to dwell with His lowly people. We ended the reading with Jesus- God Himself- coming in the form of this lowly people in order to dwell among them. God wants to dwell- to live- to flourish His people. And when we spend time with Him, we change.

Keep reading this coming week one chapter a day in Matthew. Look for themes. Look for ways Jesus's life reflects old testament values and commandments. Pray that God would help you get what He wants you to get from this reading and become the person He designed you to be.
