Friday, December 8th, is The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary a Holy day of Obligation. STUDENTS Please do all you can to make a mass. Mass times are 7 am and 5 pm.

This Wednesday is All Saints Day and a Holy day of Obligation. Since there is no class on Wednesday it is the Parent's responsibility to take their children to mass. Have a blessed day.

Registration for religious Ed is open until August. Please register as soon as you can so we can
have a better count of children for class preparation and ensure you get the day you want.
First Communion 2 is on Mondays and Wednesdays. Tuesdays and Thursdays for all other grades.
Faith Formation hours are:
Monday and Tuesday 3:30-8:00 pm
Wednesday and Thursday 1:00-5:00 pm
Closed on Friday.

Palm Sunday March for Life
Join Our Lady of Belen Palm Sunday Pilgrimage, Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 1:15pm, following the 12 noon Mass at
the front of Our Lady of Belen Church to Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission in Los Chavez. Let us come together as
a church and community defending the most innocent. We are in God’s likeness and all are gifts from Him. We
ae to respect all life from beginning to end. As Catholics we are given the Body of Christ and He lives within us.
We are to Love One Another as God has Loved Us. Please wear layered clothing, hat, sunscreen. We will
provide water and rest half way and continue to Our Lady of Guadalupe were there will be Benediction of Jesus
in the Blessed Sacrament. Refreshments will be served. Transportaion back to Our Lady of Belen Catholic
Church will be provided. For those who can’t walk—you are welcome to pray at Our Lady of Guadalupe
Mission.

Our Lady of Belen CCD classes will begin Monday September 12th 2022 classes are from 430pm to 6pm except for Tuesday and Wednesday 4-7th grades they start at 5 pm. if you have concerns or questions, call our office between 3pm until 8pm. 505-864-7869

Religious Ed Office hours are:
Monday-Tuesday-Thursday 2:30-6:30 pm and on Fridays 9:00 am to 1:30 pm.

Registrations are being accepted until August
3st. 2022 Class will start on September 12th 2022.

First Communion 2 Parents will be required to attend ongoing Faith Formation classes once a month every third Wednseday of the Month.

Classes will be as follows:
Mondays and Wednesdays:
First Communion 2 430 to 6 pm.

Tuesdays and Thursdays:
First Communion 1 430 to 6 pm.

Note:
5th-7th grades will be on Tuesdays and Wednsdays 5-6pm.

Today is the las day of Religious Ed Classes.

Your rice bowls are due. Please bring them to Faith Formation as soon as you can.


Registration is Open until end of August.2022
We need registration filled out front and back and $30 fee along with Baptismal Certificate you must be registered at our parish.

Chapter tests are due. please bring them to the Faith Formation office so the student can get credit for this year

FAITH FORMATION
What’s happing in April?
April 21st Children will be attending mass.
Parents should be working on the First Communion Plaques for Communicants plaques are to be taken to church on First Communion day.
Practice for First Holy Communion will be as Follows:
8am First communicants will be 4/25/22 at 4:30-530.
10 am First Communicants will be 4/28/22 at 4:30-5:30
12 pm First Communicants will be 4/27/22 at 4:30-5:30 Parents need to be present please bring your children to the church.
First Communion will be May 1st 2022 at all masses schedule is as follows:
Monday and homeschool students will be at the 8am Mass.
Tuesday students will be at the 10 am Mass.
Wednesday and Saturday class will be at the 12 pm Mass.

Dear Parents,
As you know First Communion Date is May 1st:2022
Monday Students Mass is at 8am Spanish,
Tuesdays Class is at 10:00am,
Wednesday and Saturday will be at 12:00pm Mass
Please start working on your plaques. Dollar tree, Hobby Lobby or Walmart has 8” wooden crosses. This year I would like you and your First Communion child to make a plaque out of these crosses. Making a chalice and Eucharist out of any material of your choosing and paste them on the cross. Along with the First Communicants name in-between

What’s happening with Religious Ed in March?
On Spring Break from March 20th to 26th. (No classes)
IMPORTANT NOTE:
On Sunday March 27th, from 2-4pm Father Clement will be teaching a Class for Parents and students making their first Holy Communion. This is a mandatory class and will not have make up. Please save the date.
Please practice with your children the Act of Contrition as Father Clement and Father Albert will be hearing The First Holy Communion student’s confession during March. Confessions will be while Kids are at class.
