URGENT UPDATE FROM NEPAL

Our hearts are heavy as we share this update from Nepal, a place that is deeply personal to our family and where this entire work began.

The catastrophic flooding that struck Nepal on August 26 has devastated entire communities. We are in contact with our pastors and team on the ground, but communication remains difficult in some areas.

We have received heartbreaking reports that 30 of our churches were washed away by the flood that Wednesday. 12 of our pastors are still missing, and more than 100 people connected to our churches have already been found deceased, with many more still missing or unaccounted for.

These aren't just numbers.
They are fathers, mothers, children, pastors, brothers, sisters, friends, and people our team has personally loved, served, discipled, and walked alongside.

We are grieving with our brothers and sisters in Nepal.

Please pray. 🙏

Pray for the 12 pastors who are still missing.
Pray for families searching for loved ones.
Pray for those who have lost everything.
Pray for our pastors and leaders who are caring for others while grieving themselves.
And pray for the rescue teams still searching through dangerous conditions.

If you are able, we are also asking you to consider making a special donation toward Nepal flood relief and sharing this post so others can pray and help too.

We don't yet know the full extent of the loss or everything that will be needed. But we know our church family in Nepal needs us now.

We are super excited we received our new church sign today! It will be installed this week for viewing sunday morning. We want to say thank you to Creative Concepts Plus in Rockford for making this sign for us that will last for many years if not decades to come.

🔥 VICTORY FROM DEFEAT 🔥
📖 Joshua 8 (SERMON PREVIEW)

What if the place where you experienced your greatest defeat is the very place God wants to send you back to for victory?

In Joshua 7, Israel walked away from Ai defeated, discouraged, and broken. But in Joshua 8, God told Joshua:

“Do not be afraid or discouraged… Take the entire army with you and go to Ai.”

In other words—GO BACK.

Go back to the place where you lost.
Go back to the place where you were disappointed.
Go back to the place where you thought it was over.

Because when God is with you, your last defeat doesn’t determine your next outcome.

The place that once represented your failure can become the place that testifies to God’s faithfulness.

⚔️ It’s time to go back. Victory is coming from the place of your defeat.
