The next step in our restoration process is the restoration of our beautiful stained glass windows. If you think the outside is looking better you should see them from the inside.

FUMC Beggs Community Needs Closet/thrift store & Emergency Food Pantry will be open this Saturday, August 22, from 11 am to 2pm.

Beggs residents in need of emergency nutritional assistance are welcome to visit our food pantry once per month, per household for groceries.

If you are in need of clothing and do not have the funds for the suggested donation prices, please speak to a volunteer and you may select clothing at no cost. We are here to help!

If you need assistance outside of the parameters of our mission, please check our bulletin board for additional resources.

New clients, please bring photo ID or proof of residence in Beggs (74421 zipcode) and see a volunteer for assistance.

FUMC Beggs welcomes everyone to join us each Sunday morning at 9:30 am for worship, and 10:30 for Sunday School and fellowship.

Here are a few fun facts about the United Methodist Church:

•The First United Methodist Church of Beggs was organized in December 1902 with eight members. They worshipped in an old school house for three years. The land on which the current building sits was acquired in 1905.

•The current church building is the oldest church building in the town of Beggs.

•The UMC, including the local Beggs church, is all about social holiness - meaning we as the body of Christ have a duty and responsibility to perform acts of service and outreach - in our communities and neighborhoods.

We hope you’ll join our growing congregation next Sunday!

The FUMC Beggs Community Closet is in need of men’s jeans in smaller sizes. Anything from 34” on down.

Speaking of jeans - all women’s jeans will be $1 next Saturday, August 22.

Donations are accepted during our open hours the 2nd & 4th Saturday each month from 11am to 2pm.
