One of tonight’s activities took the K-6 group back to “In Jesus’ Day” and we experienced a humble home. The blue painter’s tape on the floor outlined the size of a home similar to what the widow’s home may have been like. It was 9x12. We added furnishings like two oil lamps, water pitcher and bowl and some baskets. Then each child was given a rolled up towel/blanket for their sleeping mat and we all were close as we found a place to rest. What a great discussion we had! 💞

Wednesday at Kids Club our story was from Luke 5:12-16. We read through the drama twice so we could trade which part we read. Then we made cards for someone who is sick or needs some encouragement.
Our game was to walk/skip/run with a beanbag on our head and if it fell off someone else had to pick it up for us but keep balancing their beanbag too!

Children’s Ministry resumed tonight!! 👏
Both the elementary students and the junior high group learned about the Golden Rule (Luke 6:31).

Elementary students heard all of Luke 6:27-36 then worked together and made a collaborative poster before playing a game.

The youth also dicussed Luke 6 and learned the story about Dirk Willems and had great conversation.
