Good Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Today I wish to share that I am officially 80 years old. Can you believe it? in these eight decades I have had great blessings from the Lord. The greatest of which was the love of Jesus Christ coming into my soul forgiving me and becoming my lifelong partner. Secondly the gift of my precious Bonnie of 61 years. I know you’re wondering, ‘How did she handle that assignment from God?” The love I have for my four daughters cannot be explained. The Lord gave them honorable husbands and extended families. Also, although highly unqualified the Lord granted me 49 years of being a pastor of several churches, which I truly enjoyed and was blessed beyond measure for such a grand responsibility and privilege of being a man of God who modeled and taught the precious love of God. I thank you for all your kindness and love you have shown my LORD JESUS, shown me and my family and our country. See you soon near the feet of our glorious SAVIOR. Jerry Dickinson.

YOUR ANOINTING:
January 09, 2021

Have you wondered if God anointed you for ministry? Our Savior was anointed. Yes, Jesus Christ was anointed by God for His ministry. Since Christ lives right inside of you, surely you have been anointed as well.
The Prophet Isaiah spoke of Jesus, the Anointed One in Isaiah 61:1-3, “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord's favor has come, and with it, the day of God's anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory. 4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins, repairing cities destroyed long ago. They will revive them, though they have been deserted for many generations.”

Verses 1-3 describes what Christ will accomplish through his anointing. Verse 4 says the ancient holy ways will be reestablished by those who have been healed and restored.
I have found it helpful to discover my anointing so I can cooperate with the Spiritual Anointing. I have noticed the difference in me when my anointing goes into action. Knowing I’m anointed and learning to work with this authority has been beneficial for me.
Look at another anointing Jesus received. This anointing is in Hebrews 1:9, “You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
Anointed to Preach, Heal, Restore, Release and so they can Rebuild the old holy ways. What helps Jesus accomplish his ongoing ministry? By the Anointing of Joy.
As Joint-Heir, you too can discover your anointing. But don’t forget to ask for the Anointing of Joy to help you with your anointing for Ministry.
