Update:
We had a great turnout to remember and honor our loved ones.

Please join us on May 18, 2025 at the cemetery to commemorate and honor our loved ones. We will gather at 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon. You will have the opportunity to meet some of our board members and hear about future plans for maintaining the cemetery for many years to come. In case of inclement weather the reschedule date is June 1, 2025.
Donations are necessary for the upkeep of the cemetery.

TO EACH PERSON OR FAMILY REPRESENTATIVE THAT HAVE PREVIOUSLY REQUESTED A BURIAL PLOT
The Beech Cemetery Board of Trustees needs your help in updating the cemetery plot records.
If you or a family representative have previously requested a plot, it is necessary to update and confirm your contact information to secure it for your loved one. The information you provide is confidential and only available to the board of trustees.

The first person to be buried in this cemetery was Mr. John T. Grisham, father of Mrs. Sherley (Wilma) Grisham May.

The second person was Mr. Sam W. May, husband of Sallie May (Stedman) May, father of Sherley W. May, Murray L. May, Helen Marie (May) Bell, Mary Edward (May) Arnold Gibson and Nina Louise (May) Jones

We as a community owe special gratitude to a small group of visionary men who saw a need for a community cemetery. Around 1950, a committee was formed for the purpose of establishing a cemetery. These men were Sam May, Neal Latham, Ed Bell, Cloys Blankenship and Murray May. In 1953, Sam W. May donated this land and it was deeded to Beech Bluff Cemetery to be used for a burial place for anyone living in Beech Bluff or had ever lived in Beech Bluff, TN. Many years later, in 1995 the cemetery was expanded. Additional land was donated and deeded to Beech Bluff Cemetery by Alvin Jones and wife Nina (Sam May’s daughter).
To these people we say a heart felt thank you!

From the beginning the cemetery has operated solely from donations.
