Tonight Bernie brought a powerful word on the Promise Principle out of 2 Peter 1:3–8 and it was one of those reminders we all needed. God hasn’t left us trying to figure out life on our own. Through Jesus Christ, He has already given us everything we need for life and godliness. His promises aren’t just nice verses to read — they are power for the life we’re called to live.
We spent time slowing down and actually responding to God’s Word by asking four questions: read the promise again, ask if it’s truth or a command, think about where it applies in our lives right now, and then pray it back to God. When you do that, the Holy Spirit starts taking Scripture from something you know in your head and turning it into something that transforms your heart.
The room was full of honest conversation, humility, and guys really leaning in to what God is saying. When men start standing on the promises of God and responding in faith, things begin to change — in our homes, our church, and our lives.
Really thankful for Bernie bringing the message tonight. God is moving. 🙌
