Construction is underway on The Blake at College Station, a two-story, 117-residence assisted living and memory care community in the Lake View Acres neighborhood. Designed to bring an upscale, hospitality-driven senior living experience to a growing market, the 100,576-square-foot community is expected to complete in early 2028.

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of great design. Pin Up 4 at 4 is one of our favorite quarterly traditions. It's a dedicated hour for our teams to step away from their desks, present work in progress, and open the floor to feedback from across the firm. This quarter's session featured presentations by each team on new senior communities in Texas, Florida, and Tennessee. Great collaboration makes for better design, and this team delivers every time.

Elate Bent Tree is complete. Located in Dallas's Bent Tree neighborhood, this 192-residence independent living community for adults 62+ strikes a balance between resort-style amenities and the warmth of home. The exterior's stone columns, timber brackets, and private balconies carry through to an interior courtyard anchored by a putting green and shaded dining, and common areas finished with the kind of material palette you'd expect from a boutique hotel, not a senior living community. https://elatebenttree.com/

Last Friday, our team stepped away from the site plans and into the community. We partnered with 6 Stones, a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families and neighborhoods across DFW, to help a local family restore their home. The day involved clearing debris, painting, and a lot of teamwork.
We design spaces where people live their lives. Days like this remind us why that work matters.

Bedford, TX just got better. Parkwood Oaks, a build to rent townhome community, is complete, and the details speak for themselves. Classic brick exteriors, wood-ceiling pavilions with built-in grills, open-concept kitchens with stainless steel appliances, and bright, modern living spaces designed for real life. This is what elevated suburban living looks like.

Another one complete. Cypress Creek at Montfort Drive is wrapping up in Dallas, and seeing it from above hits different. This affordable housing project has 1, 2, and 3-bedroom residences, resort-style pool, fully equipped gym, and a location steps from the Galleria, great schools and jobs galore. More photos coming soon, but but the view from here? Already stunning.

Pickleball courts, a golf simulator, resort-style pool, fitness studio, theater… 200 homes where luxury meets living. Proud to have partnered with the McFarlin Group, Jordan Foster Construction and ARRIVE's own William French to bring this vision to life in North Dallas.

Last Friday, our team did an on-site training at The Emberly at Heritage Glen, a brand new, beautiful assisted living and memory care community that gave us a chance to see our buildings in person. Walking a finished space lets us celebrate what worked and carry new insights into every project ahead.
Designing for seniors means creating environments where people feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely at home. That responsibility keeps us motivated to keep learning.
