Good Afternoon,
We just got the news from mom’s oncologist. She does have small cell lung cancer. We will be going to the hospital in St Mathew’s so they can begin attacking this with chemotherapy. She will stay for three days, get her port, and also an MRI. Once we get home on Friday afternoon she will be able to have the chemo treatments here in Shelbyville so that’s a plus.

This cancer is very aggressive but the oncologist was very optimistic that, with treatment, there is a possibility of cure. Please continue to pray for my mother, Kathy Tingle, and the road she has ahead. 🙏🙏🙏

There will be a memorial for Paul Wayne Woods, Saturday, June 20th at 2 pm. It will be at the Bedford Springs Nursing home.

Just an update…my mom, Kathy Tingle, had her oncology appointment this morning. They will schedule a bronchoscopy hopefully by the end of this week to see what the abnormality is. We will not know anymore until the procedure and readings are complete. The oncologist was fantastic and worked with her when she had colon cancer and was very quick to remind her that we simply aren’t sure what this is at this time. He also stated the location of the abnormality which is very accessible no matter what.

Please continue to pray for mom as it goes without saying, it’s very nerve racking just not knowing much. She thanks each of you from the bottom of her heart for all the thoughtful messages and prayers. As do I :)

This a testimony on the power of prayer. Bobbie Carol Barnes was losing a lot of blood they gave her 5 units of blood. She went into a coma and the family was told that the diagnosis wasn't good, that they had never seen anyone make it through. She came out of the coma. Well, today she has been told that she might get to go home!! To God be the glory and thanks for your prayers.
