2 Timothy 3:16-17 King James Version (KJV)
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

All means all. Please read all of the word of God. It all flows together beautifully. We will be judged by every word that is written in the Bible not just the scriptures that go with what we want to believe. ( proof of this statement is found Revelation 20:12)

Being battle ready.
God has given us the tools to win!!!!

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

The four D’s of Prayer

1. Duty Jesus paid the price on the cross for our salvation. When the vail was tore in two it opened up the ability to have communication with the master. We must make a commitment every day to pray, and to communicate with Jesus.

2. Discipline.  When we have made a commitment to pray, it will become a discipline/habit. Stay the course.

3. Desire It doesn’t take long at all to fall in love with Jesus! (He already loves you) I desire to talk to him. I desire to communicate and feel his presence on a daily basis. I have built a relationship and intimacy with the king of kings.

4. Delight. The first three D’s are what we do to communicate, delight is what God gives back to us when we get into his presence. King David said it like this, “delight, thy self also in the Lord and he will give the desires of the heart.”The manifestation of the presence of God in our midst is a delight. Nothing on the earth can manufacture or replicate God‘s presence.

If you have never established a prayer life, you are missing out. Jesus called his church, the bride of Christ. If you want to be a part of the bride, you must communicate with the bridegroom. He is coming back looking for a people, a bride that is watching and waiting for his soon return. I challenge you to pick a time every day to kneel and pray stand and pray talk to the king of kings and create a relationship with him.  God bless you today. Self worth

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isa.41.10

Jesus loves you unconditionally!! He went to the cross and died for you. As a minister for a lot of years now I have watched people put their self-worth in worldly things i.e. jobs, people, sports, money. Only to be let down and lose their self worth when things go wrong. The scripture says that Jesus will never leave you nor for sake you! In the good times and in the bad he will be right there to reassure you that you are worth something to him. Please find your self-worth in Jesus Christ your Savior and creator. He will never back bite you backstab you or let you down. God bless

Time to get ready to see Jesus!!

Jesus said:
John 3:3-5
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God

The fulfillment of what Jesus told Nicodemus is found in Acts chapter 2

Acts 2:37-39
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

This three step plan repentance, water baptism in Jesus name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost gets your name written in the lambs book of life.

Conclusion : Jesus is coming! The signs of the time are everywhere!! Jesus said you must be ready, watching and waiting for his return. Come to Jesus today!!!

(2 cor 6:2 For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Take time today to examine yourself. Make yourself ready to meet Jesus and to share Jesus with others. He needs you to reach the world.
