Word of Life Evangelical Church is an independent, inter-denominational, multi-racial, multi-generational church. Our name comes from Philippians 2:16, “holding fast the Word of Life.” The term evangelical literally means “proclaiming good news." This applies to the understanding that Christians should share the good news of God’s love and the salvation offered through His Son, Jesus Christ, with

others. The term has also come to describe Christians who are conservative theologically and who place a high priority and value on the Bible as the Word of God. For us, this means making a conscious effort to pattern our church after the New Testament model as closely as possible. Word of Life Evangelical Church offers contemporary worship, Bible teaching, a loving Christian family, and opportunities for missions and service. All are invited to our Fireworks Fellowship on July 3, with a cookout at 7, an auction at 8, and the town’s fireworks around 9:20. There is no cost; donations are welcome to help support our Chile Missions Team for their missions trip in November. The cookout features grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and homemade ice cream!
