🐋 New Sermon Series This Sunday 🐋

Starting September 6, we will be working through the book of Jonah. It’s a book about disobedience and revival. The main theme being the mercy of God. How God extends mercy to all who would repent and believe. How the love of God is for every tribe, tongue, and nation.

Below is the schedule of the series. Use this as a guide each week to read ahead, to pray for each worship service, and to prepare your heart to both receive and respond to the Word.

•September 6: Jonah 1 - Running from God
•September 13: Guest Preacher (Vision VA Sunday) - Shawn Ames (our Regional Strategist for the SBCV)
•September 20: Jonah 2 - Rescue in the Depths
•September 27: Jonah 3 - Revival in Nineveh

We had a great time kicking off the new church year with our 5th Sunday Sing and Church Picnic! It was a wonderful service singing praises to our living hope, Jesus, and be reminded through song how good He is.

Thank you to everyone who came out and participated. What a joy it is to be in the house of the Lord, worshipping alongside fellow brothers and sisters in Christ! We are excited about all the Lord has done and will do this year!

Saturday means it’s Lord’s Day Eve! Join us tomorrow as we kickoff the new church year with worshipping the Lord through song, testimonies, and fellowship!

Following our morning worship service, we will have our annual church picnic meal in the Fellowship Hall after service. Everyone is invited and welcome to join us. Invite a friend and see you then; we’re saving you a seat!
