This FB page is hosted by Come Follow Me NH. Our goal is based on three key areas that Pope Francis has called for in "The Joy of the Gospel," to 1) form communities of missionary disciples, 2) to build unity with other Christians, and 3) to reach people outside the church---especially those in need--whether they have physical needs or spiritual needs. So that really means everyone--remember what
Mother Teresa said at Harvard? "You are the really poor people." Because we have every material thing and the highest education, but if you don't have God, you have nothing. If you don't see the needs of the poor, you are blind. If all your goals are about yourself, then you are alone. Lord, as my first post, I dedicate this page to the missionary disciples of NH who are seeking to be faithful to you. To all Christian disciples who want to remain in unity because it pleases the Lord--it was his prayer in John 17--that they may be one. He prayed this because he wanted the world to know him (John 17:23), so I do too. Who is this site for? It is for zealous believers who loves Jesus and have answered his call. Among my friends there is a group called "Warriors for Christ." As missionary disciples we have noted that deacons are asked to give 10 hours/week to serve their churches. So we asked, "if we are going to be missionary disciples serving in the world, shouldn't we make it our goal to give at least 10 hours/week? If you agree with this vision and this challenge---then I want to invite you to consider becoming part of this community. How are we going to make missionary disciples? Three ways: 1) by gathering other disciples and forming a community, 2) by approaching our church community and offering to do this in our church community, and 3) by mentoring and supporting part-time and full-time missionary disciples who are dedicated to spreading this vision to every environment. Lord, it is our desire to launch 100 part-time or full-time missionary disciples in NH. In Mark 4 you say that good seed produces 30x, 60x, or 100x, so we ask you to launch 100 x 100 missionary disciples! OK--so what comes next?
1) "Like this page"
2) Become a regular visitor.
3) Contribute to this page--but we want it focused on our three goals: missionary discipleship, Christian unity, and reaching outside the church!
4) Invite your missionary disciple friends in NH to this page.
5) Pray with us for our goals to happen.
6) Take the 10-hour/week challenge of working on this mission in your family, your church, your ministry, and your everyday life. Then tell us that you have taken the challenge. How long will it take us to have 100 missionary disciples on our list?
7) Spread this vision inside and outside NH. I mean, if you are in NH then spread this vision in your church, or your town, or your region. If you are in NE then let's start this vision in the other 5 NE states. If you are in another state or another country, then pray for me in case I have lost my mind!!!
