Mary is truly a miracle child and people like you made that help possible. LIM was able to send the $500 necessary for her surgery to repair her jaw. For those of us here in the US, that sounds like a very inexpensive surgery but for those families in Uganda who may only earn up to $50 a month at most, that amount is completely out of reach to have to pay upfront before they can receive treatment.

With just a few weeks until Christmas, Liberty International is raising funds to help provide food and necessities for each of the families at the school. We are trying to provide a basin with posho (corn flour), rice, sugar, some cooking oil, and soap for each family and student for Christmas. Each Christmas Blessing package is only $10. Share the Christmas spirit this year and be a blessing to a family in Bududa, Uganda. We would like to provide a food basket to each family at the school for Christmas to help them over the break until school starts again. Many families are struggling to even have basic needs met daily. The baskets will include a basin, soap, loaf of bread, rice, posho (corn meal), salt, sugar, oil, and pineapple.

The food basket for each family will cost just $15. For less than the cost of 2 meals at a fast food restaurant now, you can provide food for days for an entire family. Please help share the love of Christ with a family in need this Christmas.

Our next goal for Murungi Fold School is to purchase another piece of land near the school and construct some teacher's quarters. Some of the teachers have to walk several miles each way to the school, rain or shine. They risk injury from falling on slick, muddy pathways or getting hit by a boda motorcycle or a vehicle. We want to construct quarters for those far out or unable to travel as far so they are able to get to work safely as they do a tremendous job teaching and training up the future leaders in Uganda!

To help Murungi Fold School continue to grow and reach students who aren't able to go to school, we need monthly sponsors. $15 a month sponsors a student to go to school and provides all school supplies, uniforms, socks, and shoes, and meals while they are at school. The cost of less than 2 fast food meals a month can have a lasting impact on a child in Uganda! When you sponsor a student, we'll match you with a student there and you'll be able to write and share pictures with them.

If you really want to have an impact on 40-60 kids, $50 a month pays the salary of a teacher in Uganda. Teachers or families could sponsor a teacher of a grade level of your choosing and write to the teacher and class and receive updates from them.
