When students lead, amazing things happen.
After hearing about the devastating floods affecting nearby communities, one of our students felt moved to make a difference and the whole group followed. While we’re working on putting together blessing bags to send, we were reminded that the first and most powerful thing we can do is PRAY.
So, we gathered for a special candlelight prayer night. Lifting up families, homes, and hearts impacted by the flood. Students wrote down prayers on cards, which we’ll be mailing out as a reminder to those communities that they are seen, loved, and not alone.
And, of course… we had to end the night in true student style with SLIME. EVERYWHERE.
It was messy, meaningful, and full of purpose which is just the way we like it.
