As you move further along in your own grace walk, remember that there is no place where legalistic religion and grace can intersect. Law and grace can never coexist together. You have to cut the tie to legalism completely. The Bible says that "a little yeast will permeate the whole loaf." In the words, there's no place for even a little legalism in our lives.

Pure Grace enables us to renounce legalism — a system of living in which you try to make spiritual progress or gain God’s blessings based on what you do. It is a major move but one that will transform your life. Walk away from legalism today and don't look back. That is the grace walk experience,

The law is the mirror that reveals sin, Jesus is the soap whose blood washes sin away. The mirror can only show you that you are dirty but only the soap can cleanse you. You don't try to cleanse yourself with the mirror. That would be foolish, just as foolish as trying to be righteous through the law. Only Jesus can make us righteous. Put down the mirror and pick up the soap!
