Here’s what we believe. The Bible is God’s Word written for the purpose of communicating God’s laws and will for all creation. The bible is inspired by God, written by men called of God, and therefore infallible, Holy, and the only authenticated source for eternal life. There is only one Eternal God consisting of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God’s only Son. His earthly
mother was Mary a virgin and His conception was supernatural being conceived by the Holy Spirit therefore He was God and man. He was sinless until the day He died becoming sin for the whole world. Through His death on the cross, His burial, and His eternal resurrection He is the only means of salvation possible to mankind. He is the only mediator between God and man. Because of Adams’ sin every human was infected by sin and the only cure for sin is faith exercised in the belief of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God’s only Son. Man was created in the image of God on the sixth day according to Genesis 1:26 and then disobeyed God by breaking His Law, therefore forgiveness for sin is undeserving towards man and is an eternal free gift from God to all mankind who by faith receive that gift. This act is Salvation, it is eternal immediately when man believes and confesses that Jesus Christ is his or her Savior. After salvation a Christian should be baptized by immersion and unite with a bible believing church that teaches the true Word of God and promotes only a biblical lifestyle of obedience to God. A true biblical lifestyle that recognizes God’s word as the final authority in all matters requires obedience, dedication, and commitment to practice and living a life conducive to the fundamental teachings that are clearly defined in the bible. The bible also clearly defines what sin is and therefore is not an acceptable way of life, ending in an eternal punishment of death or separation from God to a lake of fire. Christian fellowship is essential in promoting worship, evangelism, and education for the body of believers called the church and the non-believing community known as sinners. The churches mission therefore must begin with teaching the members what God’s purpose for man is and share that knowledge with anyone who will listen. This church recognizes two biblical ordinances for the body of believers, Baptism is the outward expression of an inward change and a testimony of a changed life and Communion is a testimony of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ recognizing the shed blood and the broken body from the death on the cross believing in a physical return of Jesus Christ to gather the entire church for all eternity.
