Scripture Sunday 📖

James tells us that faith is not meant to be silent or still. Not because our works save us, but because real faith is alive! Yes, we are saved by grace, but saving faith doesn’t stop at belief; it moves our hands and feet. It shows up in obedience, courage, and love lived out in real ways. Just as a body without breath is lifeless, faith that never acts is incomplete.

Works don’t earn our salvation—they reveal it. They are the visible fruit of an inward trust in Christ.

So here’s the question for all of us: if someone looked at your life this week, what deeds would point them to your faith? Consider these questions:
👉 Who can you serve?
👉 Where can you show mercy?
👉 What step of obedience is God prompting you to take today?

Let your faith be seen. Let it be alive. 🙏 Amen.

Loving the continued reports of renewal and times of refreshing in the GMC! I was excited a couple of years ago when I discovered Global Methodist Church and read the transitional documents, the doctrine and of course there is the Wesleyan Holiness aspect. The more I study at WBS and read reports, listen to podcasts, etc, the more I’m grateful for the tweet I happened to catch about the GMC, and that I dug deeper into it! So glad to be a part of a wonderful movement!
