The Great Adventure Bible Study

The Great Adventure Bible Study continues this fall! All are welcome! Participants NEED NOT HAVE PARTICIPATED in any of our previous Great Adventure Bible Study courses. COLLECTING EYEGLASSES: The Beckley and Beaver Lion’s Club is collecting eyeglasses to be sent to the poor in Third World countries. Please drop them in the boxes provided in both vestibules.

CHRISTIAN FORMATION BEGINNING: Our Christian Formation Program for Children(CF) is scheduled to begin on Sunday, September 20th, National Catechetical Sunday, from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Registration forms are on the tables in the vestibules of the old and new side of the church. ORDER OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS: As baptized members of the Body of Christ, it is our mission to introduce the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of all nations. That doesn't mean we have to go on missions to exotic locations, but it does mean that we have a responsibility to evangelize. If everyone would encourage just one person to explore the beauty of God's Kingdom, we could change the world.

Starting with Mass on Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:30 PM, we will be meeting to introduce our annual program, known as the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA). This program is open to anyone who is interested in learning about the Catholic Church and may be considering returning after a long absence or making a profession of faith and being brought into full communion with the Church. There is no obligation and we welcome people of any faith, lapsed or none.
