The Salvation Army in Beckley will be taking
applications for assistance with Christmas toys and food through the Angel Tree for the following counties:
Raleigh, Fayette, Wyoming

To apply please bring with you the following:
1)WV State photo ID
2)Birth Certificates for your children 12 and under
( you must be the legal guardian )
3) Proof of income from the last 30 days.
4)Proof of expenses for the last 30 days

For Angel Tree Applicants: when you come to register
you are being honest in saying that you cannot afford to
give your children gifts this year and that we are the only place you are going to contact for assistance.

Applications will be taken on the following:
October 7-10, 14-17, 21-24
Time: 10 AM - 12 noon and 1 PM - 3 PM

This year has been great with KOTS (Kids off the Street). We have done many things that we have done in the past and things that we have never did. Like this year we went to The Lost Cavern in Lewisburg. We went to Grandview National Park which we have done in the past but this we had Park Rangers with us. Two more weeks to go, means two more weeks of fun. Thanks to our board chairmen Jay Quesenberry we are going to be taking the kids to Kennywood Amusement Park again this year. Most of all, these children has been learning about the Bible Heroes. We have a lot of fun learning these. These children has been great and has been a blessing. I thank God for each and every one of them.

Yet another leak greeted us this morning. A large section of the chapel ceiling was wet and fell. Church was held out on the back deck. Tuesday's bible study will be in the fellowship hall. Wednesday's service To Be Announced.
