If you answered “Yes” to ANY of these questions, you should consider taking the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement study program – a powerful, life changing course that is a must for any Christian looking for a deeper understanding of God’s will and purpose for the world – as well as for individual Believers. During the 15 week Perspectives course you will learn powerful insights and principles from world Christian leaders through readings. You will share the experience “cross-culturally” with fellow students from many nearby churches. You will be challenged by 15 dynamic Instructors whose personal experience and stories of faith bring the lessons to life. Perspectives helps Believers from all walks of life see how they can be part of God’s epic story of redeeming people to Himself. From Genesis to the early prophets, Jesus Christ to the early church, from Constantine up to today, you will see the “Big Picture” of how God is moving, how the global church is responding and changing, what the greatest challenges and needs are in local and global evangelism. Perspectives is not “just a class about missions”, but a course on how every Believer can be intimately woven into God’s plan to fulfill the Great Commission – reaching every tribe, tongue and nation with the Good News about Jesus. In 15 weeks you will learn the Biblical foundation for missions, the Historical progress of Christianity through the centuries, the Cultural distinctive and challenges in missions, and Strategic ways God uses His people in missions. Perspectives is for anyone who desires to grow spiritually, be challenged in the process, to become more effective as a “world Christian” in Beaverton and to reach the world. The cost for the course is $250 (for the recommended Certificate level completion). There is an early registration discount of $20 if you register before December 1st. There is also financial assistance available through SW Hills if needed/helpful to take the class.
