***UPDATE***
We are so thankful to the Slayton family and friends for coming through this morning to cut and clear the tree that fell last night. They came early with trucks and equipment and were able to do all this before the storms came this afternoon.
I can’t properly put into words the appreciation I have to everyone who has reached out. From the messages and support on social media, to the folks passing by the church last night that pulled into the parking lot, just to ask if we needed help with anything. THANK YOU for your willingness to serve and share your resources with us!
My family and I have only been in Beaverdam a few months, but I am humbled and moved by the shared sense of community I continue to see every day. When people need help, people show up.
My prayer, and my hope is that our churches are able to stand beside and serve the community (and our neighboring communities) when you need us. Thank you again, and God Bless! 🙏
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Chris
