One week until Bible Study starts again, are you coming? We meet Thursday evening 6:30-8:30 and Sunday 11am. The study will be 7 weeks. We are doing Priscilla Shirer's Armour of God. If you are familiar with Tony Evans, you will find it interesting to know that she is his daughter. She is dynamic and challenging. I cannot wait to see how God will speak through her study. Cost is $13.

Voting is one of the most difficult descions especially when our choices are mostly based on the opinions of others since we don't know the candidate personally. Please be in prayer as you vote. Go to scripture for guidance. Ask the holy spirit to give you wisdom.

Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Daniel 2:20-23

“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;
wisdom and power are his.
21 He changes times and seasons;
he deposes kings and raises up others.
He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to the discerning.
22 He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what lies in darkness,
and light dwells with him.
23 I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors:
You have given me wisdom and power,
you have made known to me what we asked of you,
you have made known to us the dream of the king.”

Ephesians says, "10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people."

IN-HOUSE RETREAT
Friday, Feb. 26th from 6-11pm

Join the ladies in the UBC gym for an evening full of connecting, growing, encouraging and laughing. Guest speaker, Amanda Lowman. The theme will be remembering His strength in our Surrender. Bring a friend, your favorite snack and your favorite game to play.

BIBLE STUDY
Thursday’s 6:30-8pm & Sunday’s at 11am starting Jan. 17th for 7 weeks in the UBC Main building Rm 9.(for both time slots) “Sitting at the feet of Rabi Jesus.” A study of the Jewishness of Jesus to help transform your faith by Ann Spangler and Lois Tverberg. Please purchase required book. It's not to late to join us!

SERVE
Ladies will meet at UBC at 3:30pm then head to St. Vincent de Paul to serve dinner on the following dates:
Mar. 16th, May 18th, July 20th, Sept. 21st & Nov. 16th.

CRAFT & HOBBY NIGHT
Ladies will meet in the UBC gym from 6-10pm to craft together. Please bring supplies and a snack to share.
