We love that we gets to partner with Parkwood Elementary School here in Beavercreek. We celebrate all that our congregation is doing to support the school - like our school supplies and nurses station supply drive. We are also delighted to start up our Lunch Buddy Program later this month and look forward to seeing students, teachers and staff more often as we move back into the school year!

We have begun a holy experiment at Peace to help make our worship space more welcoming to our children. We know that children need to move a little more and sometimes keep busy as they learn about and engage in worship. We were delighted to see that our Prayground space was used this past weekend. We are adding to it this week as there was not enough space at some service for all our children to enter into this Prayground space.

What a great weekend to bless backpacks, students and educators in worship! From our littlest students to our students heading off to college, from our preschool and early childhood educators to our college professors, all were blessed and prayed over in worship this weekend.

Paraclete Post Update! 🕊️

Great News: Paraclete Post is moving out of the pilot stage! 🤩

Paraclete Post is a mail-based family ministry that provides faith-based books for parents to read with their children.

As we enter the next phase of the project we are looking for 100+ families interested in receiving the next Holy Parcel. Note, there is no cost to families to participate.

One exciting feature in this next stage will be families can sign up to receive complementary age-appropriate children’s bibles when they register. 📖

Happy 70th Anniversary! Today is the official anniversary of the first worship service that Peace held. To help celebrate this momentous occasion, we would like to share some thoughts sent to us by retired Pastor Bob Brown. Many blessings to you on 70 years of ministry! I never could have imagined when I was in primary school in east Dayton just a few minutes drive from Beavercreek that years later I would serve as one of your pastors for 25 years. When we returned from overseas after serving for ten years as an ELCA missionary in Papua New Guinea, Peace turned out to be the perfect call. Thank you for choosing me! In retirement I still carry you around in my heart every day. So many of you have given so much of yourselves to others. Keep up the good work because without you Peace could never be the spirit filled place it is! I thank God for all of you!
