This scripture is great! It is straight forward on how we need to pray to God with all our heart and really mean it. He will show us all of his love if we pray to him with all our love.

2 Nephi 2:16,27
16 "Wherefore, the Lord God gave unto man that he should act for himself. Wherefore, man could not act for himself save it should be that he was enticed by the one or the other."
27 "Wherefore, men are free according to the flesh; and all things are given them which are expedient unto man. And they are free to choose liberty and eternal life, through the great Mediator of all men, or to choose captivity and death, according to the captivity and power of the devil; for he seeketh that all men might be miserable like unto himself."

"And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it."

2 Corinthians 12:9-10
9 "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."

Life is not always easy, and when it gets hard it can be easy to blame God and others around us. But in the end we must remember that there is a purpose in all things. God gives us weaknesses and trials so that we can come unto Him and have those weaknesses become strengths and to overcome those trials (Ether 12:27, The Book of Mormon). God has given us these trails because He knows we will grow from them.👍💪😁
