GOOD SUNDAY MORNING FAITH CHRISTIAN CHURCH & FRIENDS!! "If you're in the battle for the Lord and right, Keep on the firing line, If you win, my brother, surely you must fight, Keep on the firing line" - continued. We're on the firing line now because it's TIME FOR CHURCH - Heavenly Father how glad we are to come into Your presence again and bring You and Your Son our Savior Jesus Christ the praise you so richly deserve. Please come with Your divine enlightenment, that we may draw ever closer to Thy perfect will as we look into Your Word. This we ask in our Savior's name, Amen. As with "Collateral Advantage (last week) so too comes
"Collateral Damage"
*Mark 6:7-13*
How completely awesome this is - "And they went out, and preached that men should repent. And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them" *Vs. 12-13*. AMEN! When the Christian witness is directed by the Lord *Vs.7-9* and His direction is followed to the letter, then success to the glory of Almighty God is achieved and the witness benefits as well *V.10*. AMEN!
Consider now the "Collateral Damage" *V.11* experienced by those who shun or reject the witness and his/her message; give yourself a moment to refer to *Genesis 18:16-33; 19:1-28* to see why Christ uses S***m and Gomorrah as His example of "Damage", paying particular attention to *19:17,26*. WHOA!
But there's another consideration to be made here. Every professed Born-Again Christian is, and always has been, always will be, under a multitude of microscopes belonging to both the saved and the unsaved waiting to say, "And I thought he/she is a Christian" which creates the most lethal "Collateral Damage" of all - the eternal damnation of a human being and insurmountable discredit of Christianity. Almighty God's Great Commission comes with His gift of salvation and just as you MUST *Acts 4:12* be saved His way, so also MUST you serve Him His way as our Scripture focus explains. AMEN!
'Witnessing' *Acts 2:32* of 'Spirit Promised' *Acts 2:39* is with only "Collateral Advantage" in mind. Be on guard, Born-Again Christian, that your personal witness doesn't fall victim to the Adversary and lead to "Collateral Damage", damage that will inflict itself on you as well. Remember well "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you" *Acts 1:8* and Christ's own personal promise, "...and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world" *Matthew 28:20*. AMEN!
"You must fight, be brave against all evil, Never run, nor even lag behind; If you would win for God and the right, Just keep on the firing line" - Otis L. McCoy. (Ps - The postlude of October 7th's Hymn message was inadvertently left out: "All I have needed Thy hand hath provided - "Great is Thy faithfulness", Lord, unto me" - Chisholm and Runyon. Oops on me!)
Satan's attempts to damage and bring ruin to this world comes in many ways, too many for us to contend with and that's why the Lord God Almighty gifted us with His Son and placed His true Houses for Worship for us to go to for His Divine direction. GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING FAITH CHRISTIAN CHURCH & FRIENDS!! "Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see" - continued. Such as
"Ye Must Be Born Again"

Verse 1 > A ruler once came to Jesus by night, To ask Him the way of salvation and light; The Master made answer in words true and plain, "Ye must be born again". *John 3:3*
Verse 2 > Ye children of men, attend to the word So solemnly uttered by Jesus the Lord; And let not this message to you be in vain, "Ye must be born again". *John 3:11*
Verse 3 > O ye who would enter that glorious rest, And sing with the ransomed the song of the blest; The life everlasting if ye would obtain, "Ye must be born again". *John 3:6*
Verse 4 > A dear one in Heaven thy heart yearns to see, At the beautiful gate may be watching for thee; Then list to the note of this solemn refrain, "Ye must be born again". *John 3:5*
Chorus > "Ye must be born again, Ye must be born again; I verily, verily say unto thee, Ye must be born again". *John 3:7* AMEN!
Well now, seems to me it stands to reason that this Hymn and the Scripture focus were made for each other, yeah? Why the urgency of Christ's words of Truth to Nicodemus, "a ruler of the Jews" *V.1*? Because of the 'Light Rejected' theme of *Vs.18-21* which Jesus makes quite clear as a very unfortunate prevailing attitude...which exists even unto this moment. AMEN!
HOWSOMEVER, as I like to say, and you can too, it's ok, the Lord also made it quite clear under Whose authority the admonition of *V.3* rests when He inspired Peter to remind us, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" *Acts 4:12*. That name is, of course, Jesus Christ: "Name above all names". AMEN!
You get further clarification of this Scripture and so much more every Sunday morning, 9:30, at Faith Christian Church in Beaver, Ohio where we KNOW "He is here, HALLELUJAU!! Scholfield. Praise Almighty God and His Son our Savior Jesus Christ for Their Plan of Salvation! PRAISE! PRAISE! PRAISE! TIME FOR CHURCH - Dearest Lord Jesus and our Father in Heaven, what a joy it is to be in Thy presence to lift our voices in praise and honor to Thee for Thy everlasting goodness and mercy. Bless our worship, we pray, that all things said and done will be according to Thy will; may it bring us ever closer to Thee. In the precious name of Jesus we pray, AMEN! Our obedience includes
"Collateral Advantage"
*Acts 5:38-42, 19:13-20*
Collateral ("Coinciding in tendency or effect. Accompanying. Of a second nature" - American Heritage Dictionary) Advantage ("Benefit or profit; gain. A relatively favorable position" - American Heritage Dictionary) happens quite often unbeknownst to its source. I call this phenomenon "The Ripple Effect" which also occurs in the condition "Collateral Damage", but that's a message for another time. AMEN!
The Scripture focus in *Acts 5*, 'Gamaliel's Advice to the Sanhedrin', comes after events involving the Apostles beginning their ministry as per Christ's Great Commission had already experience this "Ripple Effect", i.e. *5:14*. Notice the steadfast dedication to duty displayed by the Apostles in the face of adversity as told in this first Scripture focus. I wonder if Gamaliel considered this persistence of the Apostles, perhaps having seen or heard of the "coinciding tendency or effect" the Apostles were creating. Interesting, yeah? AMEN!
The Scripture focus in *Acts 19* is a clear and powerful relating of just how adamant Almighty God is in having His Son's message succeed against all odds, especially when the odds are Satan-sent involving false prophets. When the Lord wants His word to advance, it's a good idea to step out of the way unless He calls you into His service. Why? Read *V.20* - the power of the Word produces a cherished result in the Lord's heart and WILL prevail.... ALWAYS. Afterall, isn't that why you're reading this? AMEN! PS - see also *Acts 2:41, 4:4, 6:7, 16:15,33* and of course the "Collateral Advantage" experienced by Noah's family in *Genesis 6:8,22, 7:5,12-13*. AMEN!

This beautiful Sunday morning will see Faith Christian Church across the street at the Beaver Oktoberfest Community Worship Service under "The Big Tent", 10:30-12:00; there also everyone is very welcome. Then, next Sunday we'll be back in "the little church under the water tower", 9:30, welcoming all who will come for the Lord's Fulness and Truth. We hope to see you at both services.

'Oneness with the Father' because of the 'Indwelling Christ' is the Bible's assurance of what Mr. Laney's Hymn tells us is part of Almighty God's Fulness and Truth known as the Plan of Salvation. AMEN!
This being the theme of our Hymn message and our Scripture focus, then all the more is the exchange between Dismas and the Lord Jesus, today's Prelude and Postlude, so very precious. Can you picture hearing these same words spoken between you and our Savior? Go on, give it a try FROM THE HEART and you WILL hear the same reply Dismas did. AMEN!
"And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto to thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise" *Luke 23:43*.
To be blessed with entry into Almighty God's Heaven, being greeted by Jesus Christ Himself is to "Live On" in never-ending bliss with the Lord and the saints who've gone on before. "I am so glad that my Father in Heav'n Tells of His love in the Book He has giv'n, Wonderful things in the Bible I see; This is the dearest - that Jesus loves me" - P.B. Bliss. We will never find a greater nor truer love than that from above...HEY! TIME FOR CHURCH - Dearest Lord Jesus how glad we are to come into Your presence and that of our Heavenly Father to bring praise, honor, and glory to You for all that You've done for us. Do, we pray, bless our worship and bring us ever closer to Thy perfect will. In Thy name we pray, AMEN!
"God's Righteousness At Christ's Expense"

*Romans 5:6-21*
"O, listen Lord, if you want to know. What the world needs now is love, sweet love" sings Wednesday's Hymn. Also included in the Hymn is "No, not just for some But for everyone" and that tells our Father in Heaven we KNOW the ONLY love designed and made for ALL of humankind is the love of the Father and His Son; our recognizing that surely makes the Heavenly Choir sing and brings a beaming smile to Almighty God and our Savior Jesus Christ: Calvary was (is) worth it. AMEN!
Our Scripture focus has much for us to learn, today's message emphasizing the connection of "righteous/righteousness" *Vs.7,17,18,19,21* and "grace" *Vs.15,17,20,21* and "love" *V.8*. How so? Look how many times *Vs.6-21* repeat the fact that Jesus' sacrifice - The Ultimate Gift Of Love - has defeated sin and death when nothing else could, bringing Almighty God's necessary condition of HIS righteousness to an otherwise doomed creation: 'Universal Condemnation' conquered by 'Universal Grace', grace being unmerited mercy IF/WHEN acknowledged AND accepted by sinners. AMEN!
Righteousness, Riches, Reward, Redemption, Regeneration can all be used for the 'R' in Grace. Aren'tcha glad Jesus loved us even before we ever knew Him? AMEN!
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me" *Galatians 2:20*.
This last Sunday of September provides us the opportunity to steel ourselves for the coming month of October by reaching out to the One who can (and will if asked) get us through whatever October holds. You can participate in that opportunity to great success every Sunday morning, 9:30, at Faith Christian Church in Beaver, Ohio. We're God's "little church under the water tower" where the Holy Spirit reigns and rules in His Fulness and Truth reminding all who attend that "He is here, HALLELUJAH! He is here, AMEN! Our Scripture focus tells of 'The Transformation Wrought in Gentile Believers' and the joining of 'Jew and Gentile One in Christ'. *V.18* declares for both the Children of Israel and ALL the rest of Almighty God's world that Christ is truly "...the resurrection, and the life...And whosoever liveth and believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live" *John 11:25-26* AMEN!
The last words in Verse 2 of our Hymn asks our Heavenly Father to listen as we admit what the world needs NOW to bring our Scripture focus to fruition today is what only He can provide, what His Son died for: to bring into this lost world "love, sweet love" - His love-His salvation. Time to join the song, yeah? AMEN!

Even the Beetles sang, "All you need is love, All you need is love, All you need is love, love; Love is all you need." Isn't it about time you let the blessed blood of the Lamb shed on Calvary cover you with THE love that is all this old world needs? GOOD SUNDAY MORNING FAITH CHRISTIAN CHURCH & FRIENDS!! "O I want to see Him, look upon His face, There to sing forever of His saving grace" - R.H. Cornelius. Well now, seems now is a great time to also gives thanks to Almighty God for that saving grace, yeah! TIME FOR CHURCH! O Lord God Almighty, truly we do sing of Your saving grace and the gift of that salvation through the sacrifice of Your blessed Son Jesus Christ. May our worship this morning be pleasing to You and bring us ever closer to Your perfect will. Lead, guide, and direct our searching of Your Scripture; this we ask in Jesus' precious name, Amen.
"Blessed Hope"
*Titus 2:11-15*
This part of Paul's letter to Titus speaks of the 'expectation' of 'Eternal Hope' embedded in the heart of every Born-Again Christian -> the 'Advent Awaited': (do you know some deny this?)
Rapture - American Heritage Dictionary> "1. ecstasy. 2. expression of ecstatic feeling. 3. Rare. The transporting of a person from one place to another, especially to Heaven." PS - The word 'Rapture is NOT found in the Bible.
Second Coming of Christ - Pictorial Bible Dictionary> "One of the most prominent doctrines in Scripture; referred to over 300 times in the New Testament alone. (i.e. *John 14:3, 21:23*; *Acts 1:11*; *Romans 8:19-23*; *I Corinthians 15:23-28*; *Ephesians 1:14*; and *I Thessalonians 4:16-18* which shows this, Scripturally, to be Personal, Bodily, Visible). The coming of Christ is the climax (point of greatest intensity in any series or progression) and culmination (come to full effect) of His redemptive work, when the Church will be completed, and the Lord will usher in that Kingdom which will eventually result in God being all in all. *Acts* and the *Epistles* show that long after the "Day of Pentecost" *Acts 1:1* the Church was still looking for the fulfillment of Christ's promise that He would come again." WHEW! AMEN!
Focus here on Christ's Promise: GOD DOES NOT LIE, therefore, how can such an event not be called The Rapture? If the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the "greatest truth in the History of mankind" then His Rapture - Second Coming - has to be ranked closely behind. AMEN! At issue is whether or not you're ready because it WILL happen. AMEN!
"There is going to be a meeting in the air, In the sweet, sweet by and by; I am going to meet you, meet you there In the home beyond the sky, Such singing you will hear, never heard by mortal ear 'Twill be glorious, I do declare! And God's own Son will be the leading One At the meeting in the air" - Mae Taylor Roberts. Notice the confidence - I AM going to meet you...". Will I? Will Jesus? Best decide now because "It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power" *Acts 1:7*. AMEN!

Verse 1 > Am I a soldier of the cross, A follower of the Lamb, And shall I fear to own His cause, Or blush to speak His name? *II Timothy 4:2*
Verse 2 > Must I be carried to the skies On flow'ry beds of ease, While others fought to win the prize, And sailed thru bloody seas? *Ephesians 6:10*
Verse 3 > Are there no foes for me to face, Must I not stem the flood? Is this vile world a friend of grace, To help me on to God? *Ephesians 6:12*
Verse 4 > Sure I must fight if I would reign, Increase my courage, Lord; I'll bear the toil, endure the pain, Supported by Thy Word. *Ephesians 6:11*
Chorus > And when the battle's over we shall wear a crown! Yes, we shall wear a crown! Yes, we shall wear a crown! And when the battle's over we shall wear a crown In the new Jerusalem. In Paul's *II Corinthians 6:14-18*, the Corinthians (and us today) are enjoined to the 'Separation From Evil Association' and specifically so by Paul's admonishment "whereby come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord..." *V.17*. AMEN!
Our Hymn and its Scripture trail shows us what must be done to accomplish that separation. AMEN! What makes the connection to our Scripture focus is the identifier given in the margin by *Jeremiah 50:22* in my Bible: War! Need I say more? AMEN!
"Sound the battle cry! See, the foe is nigh; Raise the standard high For the Lord; Gird your armor on, Stand firm ev'ry one; Rest your cause upon His holy word" - Wm. F. Sherwin.
Just a Jesus victoriously took the high ground at Calvary *John 12:32*, so can we today when leading the lost to the Lord's salvation, and they WILL come!
