GOOD SUNDAY MORNING FAITH CHRISTIAN CHURCH & FRIENDS!! "I was once a slave to Satan, And he worked his will in me;" - cont. A great way to defend yourself from the Adversary is to declare out your intentions like now: TIME FOR CHURCH! Savior and Redeemer, we do take shelter from the Evil out in the world by gratefully coming into Your presence, into the presence of Almighty God with praise, honor and glory for Thee and the Heavenly love that surrounds the Saved and Redeemed. Bless our worship now we pray and draw us ever closer to Thy will by Thy illumination and enlightenment. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN! When you accept the Heavenly love of the Father and the Savior, you truly are
"Changed"
*Acts 9:1-22*
It's interesting when reading our Scripture focus how that same Saul, now called Paul, said to the Ephesians, "And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness" *Ephesians 4:24* which could be a way of explaining how Jesus decided a "new" Saul was needed and that he would have a rebirth as Paul. Let's see how our Scripture focus lays this out, Amen?
*V.3* - The Lord can strike anytime and anywhere it suits Him.
*Vs.4-6* - The Lord can also strike in any way He deems necessary and fitting.
*Vs.5-6* - Divinely inspired (how else would Saul think to respond this way?), Saul reacted just as Jesus expected - THUS WAS SAUL CHANGED!
*V.7* - Is there ever a time when Divine Love doesn't include "Collateral Advantage"?
*Vs.8-9* - Oh how deep Spiritual Change runs!
*Vs.10-16* - Make note how Almighty God uses His Redeemed to accomplish His goals.
*Vs.17-19* - Saul's transformation is affirmed by Ananias and confirmed by the disciples.
*Vs.20-22* - And here is proven the "Changed" in Saul is complete. AMEN! PRAISE THE LORD!
Born-Again Christian, how do you explain, describe, define, the change in you? Is it as complete as Saul's? Have you suffered "great things" for your Savior's "name's sake"? For Saul, *Vs.20,22* proved just the beginning and so it is with those of the "chosen vessel" today. How AWESOME it is to be a "Paul" for the Lord! AMEN!
"But I'm bound by sin no longer, For the Son hath made me free" - Oatman and Stewart.
"Changed" is what Almighty God desires for us all and that's why He sent His son for our redemption; only the "new" enter the Lord's Heaven. Excited to know more and draw closer to the Lord's will for you? Well alrighty then, just you join our worship every Sunday morning, 9:30, at Faith Christian Church in Beaver, Ohio and draw closer to the Lord you most certainly will because He reigns and rules ALWAYS at the "little church under the water tower"; all are so very welcome.
September is now in full swing and to make it through to October, you'd best take hold of the nail-scarred hand being stretched out for you and let the Lord Jesus Christ help you to "Stay safe! Stay strong...AND PEACHY! Stay the course!" Love and Prayers, Pastor Brian. And do remember to pray for one another "without ceasing". AMEN!

GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING (and welcome to September) FAITH CHRISTIAN CHURCH & FRIENDS!! "All hail the power of Jesus' name! let angels prostrate fall;" - continued. And with praise we do
"Crown Him With Many Crowns"
(by M. Bridges, G. Thring, G.J. Elvey and W.D. Young)
*Revelation 19:12-13*
Verse 1 > Crown Him with many crowns, The Lamb upon His throne. Hark! how the Heav'nly anthem drowns All music but its own! Awake my soul and sing Of Him who died for thee, And hail Him as the matchless King Thro' all eternity. *Isaiah 51:11*
Verse 2 > Crown Him the Lord of love! Behold His hands and side - Rich wounds, yet visible above, In beauty glorified. All hail, Redeemer, hail! For Thou hast died for me: Thy praise and glory shall not fail Thro' out eternity. *John 15:13*
Verse 3 > Crown Him the Lord of Life! Who triumphed o'er the grave; Who rose victorious in strife For those He came to save. His glories now we sing, Who died and rose on high, Who died eternal life to bring and lives that death may die. *Proverbs 8:35*
Verse 4 > Crown Him Lord of Heav'n! One with the Father known, One with the Spirit thro' Him giv'n From yonder glorious throne. To Thee be endless praise, For Thou for us hast died. Be thou, O Lord, thro' endless days Adored and Magnified. *Revelation 19:16*
Choral Ending > He shall reign, He shall reign, He shall reign forevermore. Crown Him! *Isaiah 28:5* AMEN!
While Israel made his son Joseph "a coat of many colors" *Genesis 37:3*, Almighty God has made His Son a crown that is actually "many crowns" as stated in our Scripture focus. Stands to reason, don't you think, since one of Christ's designations in "The Word of God" which *John 1:1-14* shows is quite a lot. Now consider what the Redeemed "shall receive" *James 1:12* from "The Word of God" Himself. WoooHooo and HALLELUJAH!
"Bring forth the royal diadem, And crown Him Lord of all; Bring forth the royal diadem, And crown Him Lord of all!" - Perronet and Holden.
Every Sunday morning, 9:30, at Faith Christian Church in Beaver, Ohio we "Bring forth the royal diadem" of our Savior Jesus Christ and praise, honor, and glorify Him and the Father in Heaven with singing, testamony and prayer, receiving His Word in His Fulness and Truth. Want to join in the celebration? Then come on and be part of the Family of God; all are so very welcome.
And count on the Lord of Love, the Lord of Life to stretch out His nail-scarred hand to help you to "Stay safe! Stay strong...and PEACHY! Stay the course!" Love and Prayers, Pastor Brian. And do remember to pray for one another without ceasing.

08/30/2026

GOOD SUNDAY MORNING FAITH CHRISTIAN CHURCH & FRIENDS!! "Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand" *Acts 4:4*. Ever increasing are the multitudes of Believers. Ever increasing are we who KNOW the Lord's Fulness and Truth, and that's why we're here: TIME FOR CHURCH! Dearest Lord Jesus, Almighty God, we come to Thee with hearts aglow to lift up our eyes and voices Heavenward to praise, honor and glorify Thee and shower Thee with thanksgiving and love. Come now and guide our worship that we may learn from Your message and draw us ever closer to Thy perfect will. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, AMEN!
"Rise Up, O Men and Women Of God!"
*Acts 1:1-14*
*The Acts Of The Apostles* declares that Christ has fulfilled the Old Testament, the main theme here being 'The Missionary Campaigns in the Early Church' whose 'Great Commission', the 'Last Commission', in fact, given by our Savior, was (and still is) to preach Jesus Christ, Son of God, Messiah crucified then risen from the dead first to the Jew and then to the Gentile -> a 'World-Wide Campaign' explaining and delivering Almighty God's Plan of Salvation *Vs. 7-8*. AMEN!
The fulfillment of the Old Testament by Jesus Christ is verified in many Old Testament reference points such as *Genesis 1:26* and *Daniel 3:25*. That Almighty God said, "...us...our", and Jesus considers "I and my Father are one" *John 10:30* then most certainly *Genesis* includes the Lord Jesus and the fourth man in the fiery furnace of *Daniel* was more than "like the Son of God" but actually WAS the Son of God. These and other Scriptures attest to Christ's presence from the start. AMEN!
The summation of *Acts*, therefore, is certain and its beginning is what our Scripture focus is all about -> Messianic Prophesy has been made full circle in the New Testament when "...God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son *John 3:16*, arming Jesus with the Plan of Salvation "that the world through him might be saved" *John 3:17*; saved from the fire of Satan's Hell and its eternal damnation which is all the more confirmed by the strength of the Holy Spirit in the "two men...in white apparel" *V.10* who spoke 'The Promise of the Lord's Return' to claim the Redeemed *V.11*. AMEN!
Today's Church has that same 'Great Commission' and may this mission continue and succeed until Christ's return. HALLELUJAH! Oh, and did you see who was with those in the upper room *Vs.13-14*? I guess a mother's work is never done, yeah? AMEN!
"...and the Lord added to the church daily such as should be save" *Acts 2:47*. (Hmmm...SHOULD be saved...there's a message there)
If you've the desire to "Rise Up" as *Acts* is calling everyone to do, then come and join our rising up every Sunday morning, 9:30, at Faith Christian Church in Beaver, Ohio where the Lord's Fulness and Truth is shared with the Holy Spirit in attendance: He is here, HALLELUJAH! He is here, AMEN! Everyone is so very welcome.
Tomorrow we'll have come to the end of the month of August. Do take hold of the Master's nail-scarred hand and let Him be your guide into the month of September and beyond; He alone is guaranteed to help you all to "Stay safe! Stay strong...and PEACHY! Stay the course!" Love and Prayers, Pastor Brian. Be sure to "Pray without ceasing" for one-another.

GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING FAITH CHRISTIAN CHURCH & FRIENDS!! "O, come to the church in the wild-wood, To the trees where the wildflowers bloom" - William S. Pitts. Don't forget the
"Little Mountain Church House"
(by The Ditty Gritty Dirt Band)
*Acts 20:28*
Verse 1 > There's a little mountain church house in my thoughts of yesterday, Where friends and family gathered for the Lord; There an old-fashioned preacher taught the straight and narrow way, For what few coins the congregation could afford. *Matthew 7:14*
Verse 2 > Dressed in all our Sunday best, we sat on pews of solid oak, And I remember how our voices filled the air; How momma sounded like an angel on those high soprano notes, "When the role is called up yonder I'll be there". *Psalm 89*1*
Verse 3 > At the all-day Sunday singing and the dinner on the ground, Many were the souls that were revived; While my brothers and my sisters who've gone on to glory land, Slept in peace in the maple grove nearby. *I Thessalonians 4:15*
Chorus > Looking back now, that little mountain church house has become my life's cornerstone; it was there in that little mountain church house, I first heard the word I've based my life upon. *James 1:25* AMEN!
*Acts 20* has Paul going to Jerusalem by way of Macedonia. Paul couldn't afford the time to make a lot of stops, not even to Ephesus which apparently weighed heavily on his mind. So, while at Miletus, on the coast and a bit south of Ephesus, Paul "sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church" *V.17* who responded by going to him. AMEN!
Our Scripture focus is the start of Paul's reminding the elders about the importance of the Church's mission "to feed the church of God" which Jesus "purchased with his own blood" making it so very precious to Him. A necessary reminder? Yes, just look a *V.29*. AMEN!
Just as the "Little Mountain Church House" is precious to its congregation and the Church at Ephesus was to them, so should your church house - large or small - be treated just as precious...maybe more so considering today's world of wolves. See that is it and don't worry, Jesus will be there to help you if you let Him. AMEN!
"Brightly beams our Father's mercy From His lighthouse evermore, But to us He gives the keeping Of the lights along the shore" - Philip P. Bliss.
The churches where Almighty God and His Son Jesus Christ reign and rule, where God's Word is preached in its Fulness and Truth are so very precious still to the Three In One; pray for those others that are being led by false teaching, that they may be reclaimed from the destruction to come.
To enjoy the preciousness of Almighty God's Church, just you come to the 'Little Church Under the Water Tower", Faith Christian Church in Beaver, Ohio every Sunday morning, 9:30, and let the Holy Spirit work it miracles on/in you; all are so very welcome.
And for the rest of the week, as August soon comes to an end, let the presence of Jesus Christ with His nail-scarred hand help you to "Stay safe! Stay strong...and PEACHY! Stay the course". Love and Prayers, Pastor Brian. And always remember to pray unceasingly for one another!

GOOD SUNDAY MORNING FAITH CHRISTIAN CHURCH & FRIENDS!! "Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began" *II Timothy 1:9*. Now the Lord is calling us for another purpose: TIME FOR CHURCH! Almighty God we heed your call to come into Your presence with thanksgiving in our hearts for all that You've blessed us with, especially the gift of Your son for the salvation of our souls. Bless this worship, we pray, that we may draw ever closer to Thy will. PRAISE JESUS! In Thy name we pray, Amen. We can be
"Called - Recalled"
*Acts 1:15-26* *Luke 22:54-62; Acts 1:13*
Matthias Peter (ordained in place of Judas Iscariot) (Christ's Rock)
Almighty God does not call sinners to serve Him, He calls sinners to repentance after which as Born-Again Christians we are called to "Serve the Lord with gladness" *Psalm 100:2* in whatever capacity He and His Son Jesus Christ see fit. AMEN!
Matthias - "Gift of Jehovah", "Nothing certain is known of his career subsequent to his appointment; some number him among 'The Seventy' *Luke 10:1*." - Pictorial Bible Dictionary. One thing is certain, however, and that is his calling to serve his Heavenly Father was at the beckoning of His Savior and not merely by the drawing of lots - the Lord Jesus Himself called Matthias as we read in our first Scripture focus. AMEN!
Peter - "Rock", "The most prominent of the 12 apostles of the Gospels and an outstanding leader in the early days of the Christian Church. His original name was Simon." - Pictorial Bible Dictionary. Peter was said by Jesus, "upon this rock I will build my church* Matthew 16:18* but then went on to momentary infamy as a backslider, as we read in our second Scripture focus. What confirms his remorse, contrition, sincere request for and receiving of forgiveness is what Peter did next *V.62* and where he wound up as shown in our third Scripture focus which was made evident without doubt in *Acts 3:1-7*. AMEN!
Now you see why the topic and thesis of this Lord's message includes both "Called" and "Recalled". Almighty God never gives up, Jesus Christ is ever quick to forgive, and humankind, in Their blessed estimation, will remain worth the triumph of Calvary. It's quite a shame humankind doesn't recognize "That God should love a sinner such as I, How wonderful is love like this! - Bishop and Harkness. AMEN!
"Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall" *II Peter 1:10*.
Almighty God and His Son our Savior Jesus Christ would love all Their human creation come to Their salvation so They can honor each of us with the Holy Calling of serving Them. If you'd like to know why and how, join our worship of the Three in One - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost - every Sunday morning, 9:30, at Faith Christian Church in Beaver, Ohio where They reign and rule and Their Word is presented in Their Fulness and Truth; all are so very welcome.
And as the last full week of August (already?) unfolds, take hold of the Lord's nail-scarred hand and He will be sure to help you "Stay safe! Stay strong...and PEACHY! Stay the course!" Love and Prayers, Pastor Brian. And remember to pray unceasingly for one another.

GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING FAITH CHRISTIAN CHURCH & FRIENDS!! "Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name" *Acts 9:13-14*. But then that man declared
"There's Been a Change In Me"
(Anonymous)
*Romans 6:4*
Verse 1 > Today I ran into a crowd That I used to hang around, I told them that the world and I no longer agree; And when they asked me why, This was my reply - There's been a change, A change in me. *Luke 5:36*
Verse 2 > That old man you knew before, He's gone for evermore; He's been covered by the Blood shed on Calvary; I am a brand-new man, I've been touched by God's own Hand - There's been a change, A change in me. *Ephesians 4:22,24*
Chorus > There's been a change in me, A change in me; Oh, I am not the one I used to be; Old things have passed away, Since Christ has set me free - There's been a change, A change in me. *II Corinthians 5:17* AMEN!
*Romans 6* can be summed up as telling us 'We must not live in sin, for we (the Redeemed) are dead unto it; nor let sin reign in us'. TRUE! Our Scripture focus speaks of 'The Believer's Walk' that is provided, laid before us when we achieve the 'Life out of Death' upon leaving sin behind and claim the same 'Resurrection' the One Who saved us experienced. TRUE! AMEN!
How cool it is this Newness of Life comes from that Old-Time Religion...and is still FREE! AMEN!
"But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel" *Acts 9:15*.
The Prelude and Postlude, of course, are about Saul's conversion to Paul by the Savior Himself while on the road to Damascus. That Paul may have met with opposition by the Apostles at first is understandable under the circumstances, making Paul declare the title of today's Hymn, yeah?
There is so much more about this awesome miracle, and others as well, which you can hear and learn all about in the presence of the Holy Spirit every Sunday morning, 9:30, when you worship with us at Faith Christian Church in Beaver, Ohio; do join our fellowship, all are so very welcome.
And may the Lord Jesus Christ offer to you His nail-scarred hand to help one and all "Stay safe! Stay strong...and PEACHY! Stay the course!" Love and Prayers, Pastor Brian. And always remember to pray for one another without ceasing.

GOOD SUNDAY MORNING FAITH CHRISTIAN CHURCH & FRIENDS!! "We've a story to tell to the nations, That shall turn their hearts to the right; A story of truth and sweetness, A story of peace and light, A story of peace and light" - continued. Well now since we're all here, we may as well make telling Almighty God's story part of our worshipping Him and His Son Jesus Christ - TIME FOR CHURCH! Dear Lord our Father, we do come to You now with praise and honor to glorify you and our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. Do, we pray, illuminate our mind's eye that our hearts receive Your message and bring us ever closer to Thy perfect will. This we ask in the name of Jesus, Amen. So, let the story begin.....
"I've Got to Be Home Before Dark"
*John 12:29-36*
"Hello darkness my old friend, I've come to talk with you again, Because a vision softly creeping left its seed while I was sleeping, And the vision that was planted in my brain still remains, Within the sounds of silence." So sang Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel back in the early 1970s and now I see they chose to equate darkness with silence - silence with darkness. The 400 hundred years of silence from Almighty God is considered a "Dark Ages" for humankind. Hmmm, rather disturbing, Amen?
In Allen Eckert's book "The H.A.B. Theory" (fiction), 1970s, a scientist - Herbert Allen Boardman (H.A.B.) - discovered a catastrophic event destroying life as we know it will happen, but no one would listen to him. The book ends with, "And then the lights went out...forever". Also disturbing considering power grid issues these days, Amen?
*Vs. 35-36* of our Scripture focus has Jesus Christ also addressing the phenomenon of darkness - the absence of light - but with the promised hope *V.36* none of the above paragraphs include. Why? Because in spite of our Savior and Father being all about Light, humankind seems to prefer darkness, not understanding, or ignoring 1) 'walking in darkness' *V.35* means not being able to see where you're going and 2) the "light" will be taken from you by Satan if you choose not to be "children of light" *V.36* -> a Born-Again Christian. Why anyone would choose dark over light is beyond me...especially dark that is engineered by Satan. AMEN!
Look at the Prelude and Postlude. Now think of Wednesday's (Aug.12th) Hymn "Children of the Heavenly Father". You can see the duty, the responsibility, the calling, yeah? Let's get at it and if/when you're asked why the urgency of Light vs. darkness, just say, "I've Got to Be Home Before Dark" and SO DO YOU! AMEN!
"For the darkness shall turn to dawning, And the dawning to noon-day bright, And Christ's great kingdom shall come on earth, The kingdom of love and light" - Sterne and Nichol.
Jesus said, "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life" *John 8:12*. Jesus equates Light (Himself) with life - life with Light (Himself); pretty easy choice, yeah? So then, come along with us every Sunday morning, 9:30, at Faith Christian Church in Beaver, Ohio and get a healthy dose of both in all the Lord's Fulness and Truth; all are so very welcome.
Until then, do take hold of the Savior's nail-scarred hand and allow Him to help you to "Stay safe! Stay strong...and PEACHY! Stay the course!" Love and Prayers, Pastor Brian. And remember to pray for one another...without ceasing!

08/12/2026

GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING FAITH CHRISTIAN CHURCH & FRIENDS!! "Think about His love, think about His goodness, Think about His grace that's bro't us through" - continued.
"Children of the Heavenly Father"
(by Carolina Sandell Berg, translated by Ernst W. Olsen)
*I John 3:1*
Verse 1 > Children of the Heavenly Father Safely in His boson gather; Nestling bird nor star in Heaven Such a refuge e'er was given. *Mark 10:16*
Verse 2 > God His own doth tend and nourish; In His holy courts they flourish. From all evil things He spares them; In His mighty arms He bears them. *Matthew *9:13*
Verse 3 > Neither life nor death shall ever From the Lord His Children sever; Unto them His grace He showeth, And their sorrows all He knoweth. *Luke 18:16*
Verse 4 > Tho' He giveth or He taketh, God His children ne'er forsaketh; His the loving purpose solely To preserve them pure and holy. *Proverbs 22:6* AMEN!
Can there ever be a more conclusive, defining statement that so thoroughly exemplifies - says it all - about "what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us" than our Scripture focus? "...that He gave His only begotten Son..." *John 3:16-17* sure puts a period to what that love is and why it was Divinely sent, but it's the "manner" involved that our Scripture focus, and today's Hymn, addresses -> that of 'Spiritual Adoption' into our Heavenly Father's family making us His Children, hence the title "Father". AMEN!
Since the world is of the "Oh grow up!" sort and Jesus' sort is, from our Father in Heaven, that of "Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein" *Luke 18:16*, then for sure there's serious truth in John saying, "Therefore the world knoweth us not because it knew him not". Personally, I'd rather be known of and by the Father and His Christ than this old world, especially since my salvation means I can be a kid again...for eternity. AMEN!
"For as high as the Heavens above, so great is the measure of our Father's love. Great is the measure of our Father's love" - Walt Harrah.
So great a truth this is, folks, and it is the Fulness and Truth of Almighty God that our worship is all about. So, do come and join that celebration of Life with us every Sunday morning, 9:30, at Faith Christian Church in Beaver, Ohio and you'll find out "He is here, HALLELUJAH! He is here, AMEN!" All are so very welcome.
As you continue on through August, do take hold of the Savior's nail-scarred hand that He may always help you to "Stay safe! Stay strong...and PEACHY! Stay the course!" Love and Prayers, Pastor Brian. And always pray without ceasing for one another. AMEN!

GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING FAITH CHRISTIAN CHURCH & FRIENDS!! "Beulah, Hebrew meaning 'married', a poetic name for the land of Israel in its future restored condition" - continued.
"Beulah Land"
(by Edgar Page Stites and Jno. R. Sweney)
*Isaiah 62:4*
Verse 1 > I've reached the land of joy divine, And all its beauty now is mine; Here shines undimmed one blissful day, For all my night has passed away. *Psalm 27:2*
Verse 2 > The Saviour comes and works with me, And sweet communion here have we; He gently leads me with His hand, For this is Heaven's border land. *Deuteronomy 11:12*
Verse 3 > A sweet perfume upon the breeze Is borne from ever vernal trees, And flowers that never fading grow Where streams of life forever flow. *Isaiah 66:12*
Verse 4 > The zephyrs seem to float to me, Sweet sounds of Heaven's melody, As angels, with the white-robed throng, Join in the sweet redemption song. *Ephesians 5:19*
Chorus > O Beulah land, sweet Beulah land, As on thy highest mount I stand, I look away across the sea, Where mansions are prepared for me, And view the shining glory shore, My Heaven, my home, for ever more. *Isaiah 33:17* AMEN!
*Isaiah 62:1-5* exhibits 'The prophet's fervent zeal for the accomplishment of God's promises to His church', our Scripture focus emphasizing 'Restoration' and 'Divine Favor'. Isn't it interesting how Almighty God here, and in other Scripture, i.e. *Revelation 19:7-9*, uses the holy state of matrimony to illustrate His love for us? AMEN!
How awesomely great it would be if ALL humankind who honestly and sincerely (as Jesus does) illustrate (by living it) the same love for Almighty God! Perhaps if all Born-Again Christians would, the rest will catch on, yeah? AMEN!
"Beulah" (continued) The word is the feminine passive participle from the verb ba'al (to be a lord, or to marry), and hence could almost be rendered 'lorded'". Pictorial Bible Dictionary
Sooo much more is there to learn of Almighty God's love for us, yeah? Sooo many more reasons for which to praise our Savior Jesus Christ, yeah? If you join us every Sunday morning, 9:30, at Faith Christian Church in Beaver, Ohio, you'll see both taking place in great abundance. C'mon! All are so very welcome.
And in the meantime, taking hold of the Lord's nail-scarred hand will guarantee you WILL "Stay safe! Stay strong...and PEACHY! Stay the course." Love and Prayers, Pastor Brian.

08/02/2026

GOOD SUNDAY MORNING (and welcome to August!) FAITH CHRISTIAN CHURCH & FRIENDS!! "To Him who sits on the throne and unto the Lamb Be blessing and honor and glory and power forever" - Debbye Graafsma. Unto the same do we now bring our praise and thanks, Amen? TIME FOR CHUIRCH! O Lord our God Almighty, we do praise and glorify Thee for loving us so much that You'd send Your only begotten Son for our salvation. We honor and revere Thee dear Jesus, for being our Savior and Redeemer, sacrificing Yourself on the cross that Thy blood could cleanse us of sin. Come, we pray, and illuminate our minds that our hearts receive and understand Your message from Thy word; may it draw us ever closer to Thy perfect will. In Thy name we pray, AMEN!
"Nothing Is Too Hard"
*Jeremiah 32:17*
When I first read the following quote, it took me by surprise like I'm sure it is taking many by surprise now, and that's because we respond too quickly due to our focusing on only one dimension of our Heavenly Father. See what you think after first applying your instinctive reaction:
Taken from pg. 422 of "Hope for Each Day" by Billy Graham, "Are there some things God cannot do? The answer may surprise you: yes, there are some things that God cannot do. God cannot, for instance, tell a lie or go back on His promises. Neither can He do something evil or have an impure thought. Why? Because God cannot do anything that is contrary to His basic character. Remember: God is not some vague force like gravity or electricity. He is a person, and He is holy and perfect in His character...He is also absolutely sovereign and all-powerful". AMEN!
After pushing a weight up (i.e. bench press), you have to let it back down then push it back up. Pushing up is the positive part of the lift while letting it back down is the negative part, being done slower that the positive and just as important. We get stuck focusing on the positive - "Look! I can bench 200 lbs." - and neglect the negative by doing it incorrectly, losing the lift's overall intended benefit. The same occurs when our focus is fixed only on what we learn that Almighty God can do which is what most of His Bible tells us. Too often, we don't see that what Almighty God can't do is just as important and just as powerful. AMEN!
When we learn, and then acknowledge, what Almighty God cannot do and why, our over-all strength of faith in Him and His Son is magnified to Heavenly Heights - "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" *Philippians 4:13*. AMEN!
Now listen, this includes the Divine promise of salvation. Jesus saves, He does not, cannot, unsave *Hebrews 10:23*. Don't think for a second your salvation didn't happen because your experience wasn't exactly like someone else's, because that would be a contradiction of Almighty God's "great power" which you've just learned cannot not be done; the Bible does NOT contradict itself, but shares the Lord's Fulness and Truth completely. AMEN!
The Hymnist (below) sings, "Take it to the Lord in prayer" which you can do and with all confidence. Go ahead! There's nothing too hard for Him including keeping His promise to answer your asking Jesus to enter your heart and be your Savior. Oh, yes! AMEN!
"We should never be discouraged; Take it to the Lord in prayer" - Scriven and Converse.
A new month has begun. Why not start it with the power and strength of Almighty God taking the lead by going into His Church, one where He reigns and rules, and get the month off the right way? You can be guaranteed of that for certain at Faith Christian Church in Beaver, Ohio where EVERY Sunday morning, 9:30, your Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ hold forth; all are so very welcome.
And now, just you take hold of that nail-scarred hand of the Savior and let His love and power help you to "Stay safe! Stay strong...and PEACHY! Stay the course!" Love and Prayers, Pastor Brian.
