Happy Memorial Day. Pastor Luke led the invocation and benediction at the Beaver Falls Memorial Day service. And in attendance was one of our own veterans, Ed Harkins! Enjoy this day, and remember those who served and lost their lives for the cause of our country.

Tomorrow, worship will be at the Beaver Falls High school as we gather for worship with other churches in our community.

Damon Bratton and Todd Smith are pastors at Rock Christian Fellowship in East Rochester. Pastor Damon has preached several times at our church, most recently in September of last year. Rock Christian is doing an evangelism training and event day this Saturday. As Christians we are called to preach the gospel to all creation (Mark 16:15). Here is a great opportunity to learn and do just that.

We have been collecting funds for a Miracle Offering. The Allegheny West Global Methodist Church has a total goal of raising $160k for our sister Global Methodist Churches in the Congo to help them further their mission and ministry. Riverview and Ashes to Life have a combined goal of $2700 to contribute. We have been making good progress. We have 1 month to complete the gap. This week was the last week of two of a kind play group for the school year. At Riverview, we have been blessed to be the host of Two-of-a-kind the last three years. Linda Rodenbeck does a stellar job singing, playing, making crafts, and sharing snacks with kids, their parents and their grandparents. Two of a kind will be back in the fall with three separate classes. Great job Linda! Enjoy your Summer!!!!
