Blooming for Jesus 🌻 week 5!
Last night we had 29 kids plus helpers!

We heard from Mr. Phil about Jesus drawing the little children to himself despite the disciples trying to push them away. And how Jesus showed Love (a fruit of the spirit) in his actions. ❤️

This unit we've had 21 kids say their memory verse so far!!! 📖 Which is by far the most since we started!

We still covet your prayers as we seek to guide these children to the One who can be everything they need. ❤️

Blooming for Jesus weeks 2 and 3! 🌻

We had around 28 last week and 38 kids yesterday! Plus helpers as well. ❤️

Our story yesterday was about Jesus calming the storm during his ministry on earth. We also talked a little about Peace and Joy and how they relate to the story and our own lives. We can always trust Jesus to either take care of the storm or ride with us through it, which can enable us to have peace and joy even in the storm. ⛵️⛈️

Overall it went very well, and the kids got very competitive with tic, tac, toe but the girls ended up winning this time! 🏆

Beaver Valley Kids
May 6, 2026 💐

First week of our "Blooming for Jesus" unit! We had 28 kids plus adults and helpers! This was also our first week figuring out a new routine serving a hot meal instead of sack lunches for the summer. Due to the change in routine there were some hiccups to reevaluate for next week, but we got a plan so hopefully next week will go more smoothly! 😁

We are learning about the Fruits of the Spirit and hearing Bible stories that show some of those characteristics. This week we heard the story of the Temptation of Jesus in the wilderness. Our 2 fruits were patience and faithfulness. 🍊🍌

May 3rd, 2026 🌻

Sunday evening we had our second youth evening service! This month the focus was on the Fruits of the Spirit and how they can be applied in real life situations.

"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12

Last week of our Christian Roundup Western Unit 🦫

We had around 22 kids and 9 helpers. 15 kids were there for at least 6 of the weeks of the unit and 8 of them said their verse!

We heard the rest of our story about Poni and how his new family ended up being able to buy back his stallion for him and how happy he was! He learned that even though he had to obey God and take his horse back, that it was worth it in the long run. God rewarded his efforts to do the right thing even when it was hard. 🐴

Next unit: 🥀🌷💐🌷🌱🌦🌈

Also continue to pray for us as we endeavor to minister to each child. That God would give us wisdom, patience, and new ideas. We want to do more to speak into the lives of our specific kids, in a way that's relevant to them and reaches their heart. ❤️

Beaver Valley Kids 🦫

We had around 21 kids this week... and actually had a hard time narrowing down the quiet seat! All the kids did amazing and participated! 🎵

Our parable this week was on the Sower and the Seed. We talked about the different types of soil and how we should be like the good soil and let God's Word take root and grow in our lives. 🌱

We left the story of Poni where he gave his stallion back to its former owner and asked forgiveness. However, he is heartbroken and next week we'll learn more what is to become of him and his horse. 🐴
