We’ve had such a blast this week at VBS with the incoming 6th and 7th graders.
We’ve done our best to give them a small taste of what youth ministry looks like. We’ve played games. We’ve had mini “LifeGroups”. And most importantly, we’ve dug into God’s Holy Word.

Please pray for these students as they prepare for their next stages in life. The 7th graders will join our youth in just a couple months. And the 6th graders will be here in one short year!!

Youth Update for Tomorrow Night

Due to the recent rain and wet field conditions, we are postponing Paint Wars until later this summer.

However, youth is still meeting tomorrow night! We’ll be having a Game Night in the Student Center with pizza, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and hangout time.

IT'S ALL HAPPENING AT 6PM!

Students do not need to wear paint clothes tomorrow night. We’ll announce the new Paint Wars date soon.

Last night at Student Worship Night, our students took time to worship, pray, and reflect on what it looks like to follow Jesus beyond the school year.

Throughout the night, they were challenged to remember their identity in Christ, think honestly about their relationships, make a plan to stay spiritually focused this summer, reflect on the cross, and surrender anything that may be holding them back from obedience to Jesus.

Parents, this would be a great opportunity to continue the conversation at home. You don’t have to ask your student to share everything they processed, but you might ask:
1). “What stood out to you last night?”
2). “What is one way I can pray for you this summer?”

We’re praying that this summer would not be a season of spiritual drifting, but a season where students continue to grow in Christ.
