At Redeemer Lutheran Church, we want families to know they’re always welcome, especially those with little ones.
If your kids are energetic, please come to church.
If mornings are hectic and you’re running late, please come to church.
If your toddler can’t sit still, please come to church.
If your baby needs to eat, please come to church.
If your child asks questions or drops a toy, please come to church.
If someone cries, needs a snack, or makes a few trips to the restroom, please come to church.
If your child doesn’t know all the hymns or prayers yet, please come to church.
If you feel like you spent most of the service helping your kids, please come to church.
If Sunday mornings feel messy instead of peaceful, please come to church.
Children don’t learn how to be part of the Church by waiting until they’re quiet, they learn by being here.
They learn the hymns by hearing us sing.
They learn the prayers by hearing us pray.
They learn worship by watching us worship.
They learn that church is home because we make room for them here.
The wiggles, whispers, and little voices aren’t interruptions, they’re signs that the Church is alive.
So bring the babies. Bring the toddlers. Bring the big kids. Come late. Sit wherever you’re comfortable. Step out when you need to and come right back in.
Just come.
Children aren’t simply the future of the Church, they’re part of it right now.
