Pastor Fred: The Title was: “The First Miracle” John 2: 1-11 – when Jesus turned the water to wine.

V3: …They have no more wine.

V4: Woman, why do you involve me? Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”

V5: His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.”

Pastor Fred asked the question: Do we? (Do we do whatever He tells us?)

How many of us have run out of joy?

Salvation is more than a ticket to heaven (Psm 51:12) Restore us at our moment of need, let our emptiness go to Jesus. (John 2:8)

When Jesus comes into our life, He wants our cup to be overflowing. However, we don’t have enough for a transformation. Are you holding back? Jesus filled the waterpots at the wedding in Canan and He wants to fill us up. Christians are thirsty, our lives are filled w/things of the world, that won’t last. Let Him take our emptiness & fill us.
