As the United States of America commemorates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops consecrated the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus at a Mass on June 11. The U.S. Bishops joined the 250th celebration by also lifting up the contributions of Catholics and the impact of our faith on the history of this country.

We will do the same in the Diocese of Beaumont at the 5 pm Mass June 13 at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica. Join us in person or via live stream.

Let us lift Mindanao in our prayers:

*For comfort to the families who lost loved ones
*For healing to the injured
*For strength to responders and volunteers
*For protection from further aftershocks and dangers
*For hope as communities begin to rebuild

May God’s mercy cover Mindanao.
May resilience rise from the rubble.
May help reach every affected family swiftly.🙏

Keep Mindanao in your thoughts and prayers.
