His Bravery Is Mine

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Joshua 1:9

The key to obeying this command is understanding that when we become followers of Jesus Christ, his bravery becomes our own. Through his grace and in his power, we are brave. We are able to face the obstacles in our lives with strength and resolve because we have a mighty God who goes before us and behind us.

REPEAT AFTER ME 🙏🏾

Lord, remind me continually that I can be strong and courageous because you are with me. I don't have to fear because you have cloaked me with your bravery. When I begin to feel frightened and overwhelmed, remind me of your power and your grace for me.

His Spirit in Us

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7

As people of God, we must step forward to live a life that is the visible expression of the invisible God. We have been given full power to love, to be brave, and to think soundly. All we have to do is surrender our own will to God so that his Spirit can move freely in us. Then we will see our own life, as we as the lives of those around us, be transformed.

Thank you, God, for putting your Spirit within me. You have given me your power, your love, and a strong mind to do your will and to bring you glory. Help me to remain sensitive to you Spirit so I can represent you well through my life. A-MEN 🙏🏾

Clothed in Grace

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds.

Ephesians 4:22-23

When we accepted Christ as our Savior, we accepted a new life: one that is free from the power of sin, and one that began our spiritual, eternal life. If you feel like you have been caught wearing sin like an ugly, old garment, take it off! Instead, clothe yourself with an attitude of forgiveness and the freedom that was given to you through Jesus. AMEN 🙏🏾

Give and Get

A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

Proverbs 11:25

You get what you give. It's a simple principle, and one that the Bible endorses. We are not like a takeaway cup that becomes useless once it has been emptied. In God's upside-down kingdom, the more we empty ourselves, the more we are filled back up! It can be hard to let go of money, or energy for the sake of others. However, if we understand that God is using us to give to others, we can also trust that he will find a way to provide for us. And he does! Be generous and willing to encourage someone in need; there are plenty of people around you if you make yourself aware. As you give, the Lord will return to you.

Dear Lord, show me the people in my life that need my generosity. Show me those who need my time, my prayers, and my encouragement. As I give to others, please fill me up and restore my soul so that I can live a life that is full of you. AMEN 🙏🏾

Remember

I recall all you have done, O Lord; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago. They are constantly in my thoughts. I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works.

Psalm 77:11-12

Remembering what God has done builds our faith. Each time he proves himself faithful to you, and brick in your foundation of trust is laid. The precedent has been set and whenever he moves a your behalf, the bedrock of your faith grows stronger. You know that he brought you through before and he will do it again. Take time today to remember and to thank God for all he has done. Great Saturday 🪷💕

Taking Account

When we think of taking account of things or situations that we face on a daily basis, we forget that these things are all in encounters with God , he see and knows what we are facing everyday and he knows exactly when , where and how things are going to work on your behalf. "HEAR MY CRY"

Such a gentle person, very strong A strong person you are. This is a cry for understanding, A cry for hope, joy, to be loved. The most important thing in life is to be happy. Smiles from all over, the feeling to be loved currently. Blind to the fools with masks over their faces, praying for REAL love, praying for true understanding. The feeling of being used hurts more than the truth any day. Asking God to open eyes where you can't see, listening were we can't hear. Freedom is a must and securely over takes fear of the things your afraid of. Hope for greatness in the mist of darkness, blessings happen when we pray ‼️ Therefore we pray for any and everything, he hears the cry of his children and answers unanswered prayers. Letting go of things that no longer is needed. Leaving everything at the foot of God, while he helps and provides with what's needed to go forward. In the eyes of the Lord please

True Peace

"I leave you peace I give you. I do not give it to you as the world does. So don't let your hearts be troubled or afraid."

John 14:27

Our definition or peace may make us feel peaceful, but do they line up with the true definition given by the peace giver himself.?

Jesus says very plainly that his peace isn't the same as the world's peace. He does not give it in the same way that the world gives: a way that comes and goes and can be claimed or lost at any instant. His peace is not dependent on mood or circumstance, position or company. His peace is inward. It's a lack of fear. It's the absence of anxiety. It's the knowledge that no matter what loudness, what weariness, what complications surrounds you, you are held.

Lord Jesus, I worry and fear about so many things. I unknowingly exchange your peace for the world's peace that is fleeting and unsure. But I crave your true peace, the peace that will not come and go with each passing circumstance. AMEN 🙏🏾
