The Tabernacle of Praise International Ministry is people – - people who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. We are on an adventurous commission to win the world for Jesus by converting one person at a time. Part of this adventure includes a bold evangelistic thrust called Commission 200. This vision has biblical basis – based upon Matthew 28:18-20, “… Go to the people of all nations
and make them my disciples…” This motto unites Tabernacle of Praise International Ministry enabling us to reach our highest potential for world evangelism. Commission 200 calls for the involvement of every member of the Tabernacle of Praise International Ministry to reaching its goal. To make the multiplying of believers and of churches the top priority of the church. To develop efficient pastoral care in an effort to keep the new believers that God wants to give us. To teach, train and employ every member to discover, develop, and deploy his or her spiritual gifts. To take thirty – (30) minutes daily in prayer for world evangelism. To plant strong churches whose minimum goal is to grow to a 200-member ministry. To duplicate the model of the Mother Church (the respective member church, Beaufort, North Carolina) as set forth by the Bishop. Tabernacle of Praise membership churches must use these goals as a means of self-evaluation and inspiration. Commission 200 goals target a wide variety of ministries to win the lost for Christ. Our structure, which is a combination of the Episcopal and Congregational forms of government, gives our churches a measure of both denominational uniformity and local autonomy. This blend is important to church growth. Our doctrinal emphasis is bible-centered and attempts to encompass holistic spirituality. The ministry’s theological stance is biblically sound and uses the book “Acts of the Apostles” as its springboard. The church was born in Pentecostal revival.
